It typically wouldn't be a big deal if he would have at least asked. It just pisses me off that someone you've done thousands of dollars worth of transactions with can't even have the courtesy to shoot you a PM asking to use a description.

Just do yourself a favor and walk it off. You sound like such a baby. Thousands of dollars worth of business, many a dollar of which I overpayed just so I could help a fellow board member out.

To be quite honest, I hadn't even remembered it was you whose auction I was templating off of. You act like I stole your first born child.

It's pretty ^^^^ty when you go out of your way and end an auction early at a fellow board member's request and this is how they repay you. Seriously, how ^^^^ing hard is it to write a quick description on your own?

Ahh hypocrisy at its finest. You would report him to eBay for stealing your text, even though you end auctions early circumventing fees.

Maybe since you had done business before he considered you a bud, and figured you wouldnt mind? Are you selling one right now? Are you in direct competition with him for a sale? If not I dont see the problem. And I really dont have a problem with people ending auctions early either, just had to point out the irony.

i dont really see too much wrong to be honest but he could have at least asked or let you know first out of common courtesy :dunno but show some respect to abn, the guys a vet :rock:rock :lol

Doesn't that kind of give him more of a reason to use it without asking... ?. :monkey3

If I had dealt with someone over so much money and recieved my stuff I would feel quite confident with that person. I would probably do the same without asking since I would presume it wouldn't be a problem.

Is it an ebay rule to not take descriptions of items that have ended and if so why ?.

There is a rule about not copying other's auctions.
