though the hydrant may not of been the choice of the masses, what else would of worked in it's place?? maybe a car?? even a car ripped in half would be almost a completely nother sculpt, which would've pushed the price even higher.
so i think ssc made a compromise, something solid yet small enought not to take away from the statue and add even more cost to the piece.

I don't know what I should go with now...I can get the ex with my points which would cut the cost in half. I would get it sooner this way.....or should I just use my points for something else and forget about abom?

I don't know...I got $2000 worth of stuff coming in January. This would be my first marvel PF....meaning I would have to go find a PF hulk to go along with him. Is he that cool a piece to have him displayed all by himself?

keep in mind that shipping/taxes/brokerage fees are going to add a huge amount to the final price. This piece is great, but the size limits its appeal to many collectors. With some patience and a little luck you should be able to score it down the road for less. Use your points on something else that covers the entire cost.
