Looking at the giganto 360 view I now want this piece as long as it comes painted and looks as detailed as the 360 view shows it. Definitely the most detailed Marvel piece yet.

this wasn't a very good move by ssc. i mean releasing this exspensive sucker during sdcc. going to be alot of cancellations.

which is ok since now my lcs will probably be getting some exclusives to sell, which of course then means i'll be cancelling mine also to get him cheaper.

i think a lot of people will be hoping to get it cheaper a little later, myself included :)

yep, $500 smackers is alot for a PF. sadly they have to make it into peoples hands before we'll see any for less. ex's anyways, the regs will be sold for less right away i'm sure.

i know most don't feel the hydrant isn't worth the extra $$$ but for myself the lower es is worth some more $$$, though how much i'll have to wait and see.

Yeah releasing something this expensive in July so close to SDCC plus with other real popular things arriving that month like Berserker, Patient Zero, Cammy and Vader just to name a few which by the way are a whole lot cheaper was a big mistake by Sideshow. This is why I canceled Abomination earlier today since my wallet will be tied up on many many other things. If they released him around September or on a slower month then I would have kept him for sure since my wallet would have been more focused on him.

Hey Doug, u wouldn't mine hooking me up with one later down the road whenever your local shop gets them in, I really wanted this piece but if I could just wait and get it cheaper that would be ideal. (There's no local shops in Saint Louis believe it or not)

I agree on the release of this piece was really poor timing on their end.

What, no comic shops in Saint Louis? There are at least 8 here in Phoenix.

i wouldn't mind, but i think after the extra shipping and customs fees just to get him back across the border would most likely push him into unbargained territory

i don't know if that's even in the webster dictionary. :lol but i think it fits.

I don't know if you could even ship the box that is going to be HUGE using normal postal methods. I thought their is size restrictions when shipping outside of US; not sure what size restrictions Canada has.

yeah that a good question, i know i shipped a Thing PF to toronto by bus just because it was closer for the buyer to pick him up, but i did get a quote from the post office also and they said that they would take it, just they had to lie to their computer to get him shipped. :lol:lol

i guess it helps living in a small town and knowing the people behind the counter. i doubt you'd get away with that in a large center.
also it will interesting how much bigger the shipping measurements will be for this one.

Yup, it's pretty freaking sad here, all the comic shops are lame and don't purchase any SS stuff at all :monkey2:monkey2:monkey2

You can order from AP Collectibles here in Indy, get a much better price, and have it shipped to you directly from SS since it's over $300.

but do they carry Ex's? I think Doug was saying that his lcs would be getting in the Ex... Not for sure though.

yeah most lcs only get regs, but since the lcs up here is affiliated with the canadain distributor (owned by the same guy:rolleyes:) when ssc gets alot of ex's by either cancellations of over selling then they get their stock orders upgraded to ex's at no additional charge.

like my last two pieces that i received from ssc that i had to destroy. the lcs had their T800 and CIM upgraded to exclusives, so i got em from them and saved on the shipping and brokerage. i figured i saved about $75-$100 on each.
i would get everything from them, but unfortunately i don't know when they will get the ex's or the reg's in until they arrive.:(
