My LCS sucks ass!

They only sell Bowen and play like they never even heard of SS......for real, you can walk in and ask about a SS piece and they're like...."Nope, never heard of SS or the word Premium Format."

But they have a ton of Bowen for sale on the floor...a ton....

It's exactly the same way here in Saint Louis, now I know we aren't the biggest city but we are definitely not the smallest and every LCS store here plays with the "I don't know what Sideshow is song" Almost all of the LCS here carry NO statues or pieces...

Last week I went in with my Thor photos and said that's how the God of Thunder should look like.....

If I ever get Abomination, I'm going to bring it with me and set it on their table where the register is at and drop A-bom's blue drawers and give them a moon that they will never forget.....

It's true here to some extent too. Most LCS don't carry SSC stuff for whatever reason. I only only know of one that does (Earth2).

This is fine by me though since I wouldn't buy an EX at the LCS markup anyways (they have to pay full pop for exclusives, so they have to jack up the price - understandable). I buy almost all my Bowens at my regular LCS, but usually laugh myself right out the door when I hear what he has to charge for EX PF's and such.

..though I am currently payng for the Aliens warrior maquette through him (they didn't make an EX of him). After all these years of collecting, It'll be my first 1/4 piece I've bought in a retail store

I think that is just something they say to be able to mark up the EX piece...i got that before from one local CS but at another one he was able to order the EX and still give it to me at the price he would have charged for the REG....I think they still get there wholesale discount on EX pieces if they are available...

Yea they could bend the price if they really wanted to sell it or get it out of their hair. There's always a price...

Hopefully the next time the EX won't be some puny little water dispenser. Can you imagine if they gave Juggernaut that as an ex.
