i just rather hear the band than an audience. and i want the sound to be studio quality and the voice to be understandable. thats why i don't like live cds. too much garble and noise.

AC/DC live sounds better than the studio albums. there's no talking between songs

agreed; some of the MTV acoustic albums are great (Alice in Chains and STP to name a few), but for the most part live albums are very disappointing.
