Yeah, but you get what you pay for. Apple doesn't add any bloatware apps to subsidize the cost, the way other PC manufacturers do. They are also ranked very high in customer service and satisfaction year after year.
There are many reasons to get a mac outside of the reasons Apple states in their snarky ads, and I'll post them if people are actually interested. But in my experience, I've found people really don't care.
So my advice to the OP is that if you need a Windows computer, go with the Acer. You get a decent machine at a good price, plus good customer service. However, a mac would be my top choice.
