Nice pics Ed! I received mine today as well but I am not going toe to toe with your pics.

I had to drill the hole on the back peg hole larger so the back leg would fit due to the chroming closing the hole a bit but all is well. Then I had to clean it and dust the protective paper residue off the statue and I was ready to go.

This thing is pretty damn cool. It's easily worth the $100 to have it done. Gary and Kristin are very nice to deal with as well. Hell, they shipped me back the statue before I even submitted the payment.

I can honestly tell you Gary and Kristin are great. Had this done a few months ago and it looks crazy good. They do use a paint process called cosmic chrome. The original price for this was $75. I think they increased it to $100 now. This is paint that looks like chrome. There is no chrome plating involved. No heat to damage your statue. No cracking or peeling. They also give you very specific instructions on how to care for your piece. Very helpful and fantastic customer service.

There customer service is so good that they did my Surfer for free. YES FOR FREE. It seemed like my Surfer was a project from hell for them. Every time it was ready to be shipped back to me a problem seemed to pop up. Instead of shipping back a half assed paint job, they worked on it until it was perfect. Since the job took about 3 months to finish to their standard, they didn't charge me anything for the job. They even shipped it back to me for free.
Beautiful paint job. GREAT customer service. Reasonable prices. The pics you have seen speak for themselves. If you are going to have this done, Gary and Kristin will take excellent care of you.

Just saw this thread here and wanted to let ya know Gary is a great guy. Once i saw he could chrome on SF forum i sent in one of my many Genis-Vell Captain Marvels. When i said i just wanted a blue color chrome, he said he could do the all the colors. Costed $200 but well worth it! Sucker shines in my case above all my others.
