Just got her email with Sawyer and Locke. Locke looks REALLY good but Sawyer not so much. It is shame her stuff is kinda hit or miss. I will probably get Locke though.

I agree, Locke looks good but Sawyer is just ok. I thinks it's mainly that the beard is way too thick.

The eye area looks really good on Sawyer... I agree it is the hair and beard that are throwing it off, ever so slightly.

The locke is good to go. The other one might be good with a decent paint up. It would be pretty easy to dremmel the beard down a bit.

I think her sculpts get better and better as she goes along. I agree Sawyer's beard is too full, but Locke is amazing.

The problem, as it seems to me with Ada's sculpts, is not the sculpts themselves but the reference pictures she gets from whomever commisions. I get regular e-mails from her and the ref pic for Sawyer looks exactly like the head she produced. I've noticed this on other sculpts too. She is one of the most talented and prolific sculptors out there,and thank god she is! A lot of us would be 'lost' without her.

I got these guys a couple of days ago. Here's a WIP shot:

I'm much more impressed with these than I was with the Nathan Fillion head (my first Ada sculpt). Even though Sawyer's beard is too thick the likeness is still there in the forehead, eyes and nose. I'd definitely buy more if she did the rest of the cast.

I bought both and I'm waitong for them to arrive. If the Sawyer does not work out I might use him for a Rohirrim soldier custom.

Locke is probably one of her best efforts so far. As for Sawyer, I just got mine the other day. Not that impressed with the sculpt.

I'm becoming less and less a fan of Ada Chan's work. I think I'll wait for Medicom to continue the LOST line.

Actually, DarkAngelDTB has a great Locke that he sculpted and offers on the board. I bought one and am putting the finishing touches on the clothing before I post pics. Ada's work is hit or miss it seems, but I don't have to worry about that anymore .

Just checked her site, now she is offering Jack and Charlie. Jack looks so so, but Charlie looks pretty good.
