I wonder if Sideshow is cutting back from four Marvel PFs per year to two or three? Considering that April is basically over and we haven't got one this year. I am wondering if they are going to release a Wolverine or Sabretooth PF to coincide with the movie in a few weeks.

Unless its a bigun. If they release more expensive product they'd have to space it out more because it'll cause collectors to pick and choose if too much is out. The next PF could be teased in the next NL and if its someone big it'd be expensive which would make sense why SSC wouldn't slam too many in one year.

Not to mention they took a lot of time off from Comiquettes.....maybe this is the "down time" for the PFs.

As a side note, what comic creator convinced the boys at Marvel to put out a book with a creature with fallic junk hanging off his face and named Man-Thing?

I think they are cutting back from PFs in general. There will be only two Star Wars PFs shipping this year; in their 4/22 Newsletter, Sideshow stated that after the Scout Trooper, there will be one more, and since Dooku was just announced last night, it's most likely him.

It's worse for us LOTR fans. The Uruk-Hai Berserker is shipping next month, and Legolas was announced but is scheduled to ship in 1st Quarter 2010. I guess there is always the possibility that Sideshow can announce more LOTR PFs this year, but I'm not optimistic. Even if they did annouce another LOTR PF, I doubt it would ship this year. I've never seen a product annouced after another product ship before the first product.

With Marvel, Mystique shipped in February, and the Abomination is scheduled to ship later this year as well. I really hope we get a big surprise annoucement about a Marvel PF in next week's newsletter because it would be the last week in the so-called Month of Marvel, but if Sideshow follows form with it's other licenses, it seems like the PF shipping/announcement schedules are down.

i kinda doubt that we'll see any announcment next week for marvel since they just announced Man-dingy, which should go up for PO next week.
so the earliest next announcement will be the week after, which may or maynot be she-hulk. but going buy ssc sneak peak/announcements and no PO's for up to a month afterwards, who knows
