Adding necks to sculpts

I'm going to state the obvious but what about

I'd do the neck (1) entirely out of epoxy putty or as posted above, (2) affix the head to a neck post and cover up the seams in epoxy. Some minor paint retouches may be needed.

You gotta keep in mind the resin heads have a certain elasticity, even more the neck's internal contact is made in a softer rubber, so when you snap it in the head, it doesn't break apart under stress. Epoxy putty could be more brittle vs polyurethane resin/pvc/or whatever material original casted heads are made from. So a loose fit to the neck connector would be advisable if you decide to make the neck fully out of epoxy or a brittle material, and then fitting it in with pvc tubing, hot glue or some temporary means of holding it in pose.

Magic sculpt or milliput (silver grey or superfine) should work to either (1) or (2)

There is also the alternative of using polymer clay(living doll, cernit doll, sculpey regular) in skin tones, but you'd rather need to bake it separately, then gluing it in place somehow.
