Funny that this started around the same time as The X-Files. One show made its mark and became a well known part of pop culture, the other...

Oh boy,oh boy, oh boy! I've been waiting years for this to come out on DVD!

Once this one and the short coming "Young Riders" DVDs are released my most wanted TV shows on DVD will be complete (I already got my #2 want, Earth 2, last summer).

I think it had to do with it not being strictly a western. It was a sci-fi/western with some comedy thrown in. Firefly sort of falls into this category. It was a mix that not a lot of people connected with. The creator of the show, Carlton Cuse, is now a writer on Lost.

I watched every episode when it originally aired over 12 years ago. I can't wait for the box set.

I wasn't really into it when it aired, but I'm definitely going to buy the DVDs. The episodes I did see were great.

Now where's Jack of All Trades!?

That's what I'm wondering. If Cleopatra 2525 was released on DVD I don't see why this one hasn't been. They did air at the same time...though Cleopatra 2525 lasted just a little longer IIRC.

Never saw this show, but LOVE Bruce. I'm VERY behind-the-times on TV - I hardly ever watch it until things come out on DVD.... is it a comedy? Is it an hour or a half-hour? How many episodes?

Dusty, if you're a fan of Bruce you'll love this show. I always regretted not taping them when they originally aired. I forgot about R. Lee Ermey playing his father. Let's hope to see Jack of All Trades soon.

Is this the one featuring Kelly "Melrose" Rutherford...she's such a hottie :google
That's her.

I'm hoping Amazon will have this a little cheaper than a hundred bucks. It's not too bad for 8 discs.

Yeah, I have to have this set... I loved this series when I was a kid. My dad got me hooked on it, and once I saw that Bruce Campbell was in it... could not resist. I was a huge Evil Dead fan as a kid and would see anything he was in.... even Congo..

So the entire series for a little less than a hundred bucks seems reasonable... Even if I have to stretch out the funds a little bit to achieve it. Maybe once my birthday comes around, or Christmas...
