Not sure how you're supposed to display both civ looks with only 1 civ sculpt?

And this thing is pretty much $900 per fig before the overseas markup?.... holy.

Glad I’m not the only one to notice! I’m surprised more people are not seeing this. It’s really striking and would be an easy fix!

The original hot toys version got the slim body right. The version 2 made her thicker, the chest was too big, the arse was too big, thighs too chunky and a weird thigh gap.

This figure really needs the chest raising and probably a smaller backside but it seems most designers like to exaggerate any female features.

On another note, does silicone last? Most silicones weep oil and become tacky over time.

Didn’t realise they got so much wrong with the body proportions on the 2.0! I have the 1.0 and the boots have disintegrated. Is the boot material
The same in the 2.0?

Also Same question on Bane 2.0 - my Bane 1.0 coats have turned to dust basically - is 2.0 a different material or that same ****** pleather?

I'm really impressed with the figures. I need to think it through. But only selling them together is absolute ****...
The figure you want from the set likely wasn’t
feasible with likeness rights fees to go through with production on its own, these are low batch.

Probably around a thousand units with Hathaway
and WB to pay, along with the state of the art tech.

They definitely should have had a single option for the catsuit though. Very strange. Very inconsistent with every release.

Well that’s the only one everyone would have bought then.

Nick is right - with the licensing fees, the only way they can probably make this work is by offering more and forcing people to buy the whole package

That I agree with, would have sold more figures to more people. But that’s a collector’s thought process.
Not necessarily a sound one.

It’s likely they couldn’t realize production on the other two looks with offering the main look simultaneously for half the price, that will outcompete everyday,
twice on Sunday.

Well. Going by their previous pricing model (I could be mistaken) the rooted figure would be worth $1K, and the sculpted hair figure $800, which adds up to the total price of the set.

I suppose that's what I'd be looking at, were I to split this up. With additional fees and shipping.

Is anybody entertaining this?

Not releasing Catwoman by herself is a deal breaker. I’m not shelling out that much cash for all those other looks that I don’t care about or have the room to display, no matter how good they look.

Their Bruce is rooted on the $800 Type A version,
I don’t believe the hair is their main reason for costs like how it is with InArt.

Wait until Two Face gets locked into a two pack. Kidding, I don’t see them making Harvey, I think they’ll only do Two Face.

Interesting, they only include a single stick for the eyes.

Makes sense, but it's an added complication to those wanting to split.
Yeah same for the Ledger.

I’m sure there’s nothing more to it than just a magnet, I’d say whoever initially places the PO should have dibs if they’d like. Unless this isn’t the only Kojun piece they’re picking up and don’t mind.

Lol, INART locking figures behind a multi-pack: Big no-no. They’re idiots for that!

JND only offering a multi-pack and locking figures behind it: It’s all good, man. And IF it was broken up, $1k for a stand-alone rooted figure is great!

Put your feelings aside and look at it from an adult, logical point of view. Units is the name of the game in this industry or any, for the matter, these days. Either learn it or continue to be upset at things that aren’t real.

At this point I’m certain you go to expensive car dealerships and attempt to haggle on price, making yourself look like a fool. Just don’t buy it, it’s too costly. Something else is always available.

Couldn’t be more wrong.

It’s just amusing to me to see you “defend” this vehemently. Scout is bringing up good points and you have whatever rebuttal ready to go.

I agree with the first point, being that it's a ****** model to provide less options for the collector. And I don't like to play devil's advocate and adopt the business point of view.

On the other hand, I can't knock the price. I think it's in line (more or less) with what other companies are charging.

I do think it's overpriced. But I think the same for any Hot Toys or Inart figure. These are still mass produced at the end of the day, and it shows.

It's a stunning piece, the set seems like a lot of fun to display and pose.

That being said, it's definitely priced far beyond what the average collector can afford. Do I think it's worth six times more than the HTs version or six times better? Honestly, no, but to each their own.

I do wish they offered just the Catwoman figure by herself, as that's clearly what most people are after. Personally, I’m not interested in having a some maid figure taking up valuable shelf space. Not everyone will recognize what it is, and it might look out of place next to other superhero figures in full costumes, but that’s just me.

It’s his job to defend InArt, so spend your time with someone else:monkey3
