just that Fight Club didn't show up at all...but i guess it doesn't easily fit into any of the categories.

i'm thinking that Mysteries would be the closest.

Yeah... the horror genre was sorely missing and some catagories were a little weird. Epic? Hmmm. Seemed like a lot of these films could have fit into other catagories.

Nice mix of new and old though.

Part of me would have picked the Invasion of the Body Snatchers re-make over the original and my heart would go with T1 over T2.

Overall decent lists though.

Really, I like T2 soooo much better than T1. Same with Aliens over Alien; would think Aliens would score over Alien.

Kinda wish they would just put up "comedies" as well as "romantic comedies"

I've seen every single one of those movies. :google

And I was off in 3 categories when I voted last week. I thought the #1 spots would be SW for Science Fiction, Chinatown for Mysteries and Annie Hall for Romantic Comedy. They all came in second. The other 7 categories I had right.

Don't get me wrong, I love T2 but I think I like T1 more because I saw it first... I also kind of dig how gritty and low budget it feels. I had never seen anything like it.

Also, they deserve a ton of credit for putting Caddyshack on these lists. That takes some guts.

I agree that comedies would have been more fitting than romantic comedies as well.

Oh, and I kind of get why Shrek is on the list but I think the Incredibles deserved to be there a bit more.

EXACTLY what I was saying to the family as I watched it. Thought it would be #1. Like it TONS more than finding nemo, which I didnt' think was that great.

4. Annie Hall
5. Duck Soup
6. Blazing Saddles
7. MASH
8. It Happened One Night
9. The Graduate
10. Airplane!

And the horror/suspense/thriller list:

1. Psycho
2. Jaws
3. The Exorcist
4. North by Northwest
5. The Silence of the Lambs
6. Alien
7. The Birds
8. The French Connection
9. Rosemary's Baby
10. Raiders of the Lost Ark

Halloween and Night of the Living Dead are listed further down.

AFI has a hard on for Hitchcock and Kubrick. Do they go around to retirement homes for these polls or something?

Was fun to watch. I was surprised SW and LOTR didn't come in at #1 and would like to have seen a category for which Indiana Jones could have come up in.

wait, you don't get a hardon for Hitchcock? :D

say what you will but both were innovators in the field. Hitchcock was a master at setting and telling a helluva story.

as an aspiring filmmaker i've studied both and agree they should be at the top of the list. but i am old, so....

Really??? It's a good movie, a bit scary.
Yea, I was like 11 when I saw it in theaters. midnight show, dark and cold, the only people in the movie, it freaked the crap out of me.

I thought Indy might show up on EPIC, but nope :monkey2

These categories should have been in there:

Action
Adventure
Comedies
Drama
Horror
Spy
Western
War
Animation
Musical
etc...

They had some wacky categories

All those comedies are hilarious, don't really consider the graduate a comedy though....

and horror/suspence/thriller shouldn't go together at all. But it's nice to see Raiders on there.
