IMO a bit unnecessary. The demand for more Hunter and Mockingbird is low.

Agreed. Pretty excessive at this point. They're alright characters but I see no reason to base a show around them.

I didn't think AOS had good enough rattings to justify another show. I like the characters on AOS, but probably won't have much interest in a new show about just them.

If they were doing this for Netflix I might be interested.

AoS was good last season, but now I have Daredevil for comparison. I don't think their Network shows can reach that bar.

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, ive been hearing talk that AOS could be axed after this season and replaced with an extended run of Agent Carter.

Lets see what happens with AOS after JW letting the cat out of the bag that he hated bringing Coulson back to life which was revealed during his public battle with Fiege.

Coulson not being addressed in AOU was my biggest disappointment with the movie.

2 seasons of the show for nothing.

For this reason alone i'm ready to walk away from this show.

Kind of hard to buy that they are ready to pull the plug while developing a spin off. If the ratings tank then anything can get canned, but seems odd that they'd already be ready to cancel it before season 3 even starts with a spin off already on the way.

The whole concept of the show is a bit of a mystery. Whedon kills Coulson, then he comes back in a show Whedon produces, participating in an agency that gets dismantled in Winter Soldier. I don't think they are comparing notes.

First and foremost Coulson is an MCU character for me, he was why the Avengers came together.

Lame how he was ignored in AOU, he should've been the character in the barn with Stark.

I too was disappointed that Coulson has yet to show back up in any of the MCU movies. And it doesn't seem like he ever will. Maybe hinted at, like Fury saying "a friend" or whatever, but I'm pretty sure they will just treat him as dead going forward. In any event, I still really enjoy the show and will keep watching. As for the spinoff, def doesn't seem necessary when the original show only has had what 2 seasons?

I've said it before, but its only a matter of time before your son gets on one of these Superhero TV shows, maybe even one of the films if things really work out. I love the fact the cast of SHIELD all know who he is!
