Snap! That Bane is coming out insane! Can't wait to see that finished. Those kaustic bodies are pretty damn impressive.

I need to pick up that Ash Bane sculpt already.

Doo Eet! If you want to build a comic Bane, this is definitely the sculpt to get.

Took some final collection pics from my place in Cologne before I pack and move. I only took closer images of the shelves that have changed majorly since the last update.

(Kroenen is missing a neck adapter as I didn't have any left.)

This is a big WIP shelf. Comic Joker still needs weathering and the Arkham lettering on his chest. Bane needs most of the work done, he's more of a mock-up. I'm thinking about starting Bats again pretty much from scratch. And Ledger Joker will be upgraded by DX11 when he's out.

Arnie's M134 isn't complete because I dropped the damn connector for the barrel and haven't found it since. Hopefully I'll find it when I pack all the stuff and move the furniture.

Thanks Steve. Yeah I put that plant there to balance the colors, as there's so much black and white in the cases. I think it worked nicely.
Jason is just not up to par with Freddy figure quality wise, so he got bumped to the lowest shelf.

That is a sweet, sweet setup. Can I ask why you're taking your Jim Lee Batman back to square one? I've finally decided to add an "animated" Batman to my collection, but at the expense of the EB 1/4 Batman. It's gonna be awesome though, so it takes the sting off a tiny bit.

Wow, definitely looking forward to that one. Any particular artist you're basing it on, or is that still a secret?

As to my Bats: I've really come to dislike the neck, I'm thinking about removing it and sculpting my own. The boots are very soft and don't hold their form. They are not stable at all, either. The gloves are good, but the blades are in the wrong position IMO. The belt is temporary anyway, TonyMeis is currently making one I'll be getting. The batlogo is temporary as well, I have some Evilface decals here already. I'm also thinking about getting a cape from TonyMeis. Since I want to change the neck of the sculpt anyway, I could repaint the head as well. That way I can decide on a blue for the cape and trunks first, then paint the sculpt in the appropriate tone. Much easier matching the color with paint than with dye.
And I really like my modified body at the moment, but Seb's latest Jim Lee Batman has such an amazing body using the ACI Andrew and T-800 legs, I want to copy that one badly as well. I'll have some time to think about it anyway, not sure what option I'll be going with yet.

Thanks man. I don't have a new place yet, but I'm definitely looking to have a similar setup in the end. I'm also thinking about buying a third Detolf, if I order the Enterbay Bats I pretty much have to.

Not a big update, but I thought it would be fun to post this WIP shot.
I finally started working on my comic Bats again full force. After Seb's amazing Batmen, I decided to switch to an ACI upper body as well, which I attached to my modified advanced TT legs.
There's still A LOT of work to do on him, like bulking up the neck and traps. Might use long feet pegs on him. I have ordered a cape and trunks from TonyMeis, can't wait for those to arrive. Will make my own gaunlets as well, I have the hands in the mail currently. The only thing I still have to figure out are the boots. I'm unhappy with the ones I had before, but I don't have an alternative so far.

As for Bane, I added longer feet pegs and made a glove for him for the venom unit to be attached to. I still have to give him some proper heels, they are way too thin at the moment. I have the shirt coming from TonyMeis as well. Then at the end, of course the venom unit.

I should have some new shots of my display soon as well. I'm thinking about selling 2-3 figures though at the moment, to start a bit fresh after the move, so I still have to figure out how to display which figure.

Thanks C. Especially Batman has been a looong time in the making, hopefully I'll be able to complete most of him fast.

Here's a shot of them on my current favorite shelf. I still have to weather Joker a bit, and probably add an ARKHAM decal to his chest.

Thanks guys. Hopefully I can get as close to the awesomeness of Seb's version as possible, with some personal changes of course.


Had some fun with my Enterbay Batman today, hope you guys enjoy the shot. He's definitely the most realistic figure I own, I haven't regretted getting him a single second.
