I finally got around to taking some new collection pictures.
I added comments to some of the pictures, if they are still WIP etc.

I love this sculpt, it's actually my first custom Joker sculpt, and miles ahead of any HT Joker IMO.

The boots on Maul are still in progress, I want to get them movie accurate.

The clutter at the Sandtrooper feet is there to remind me that I want to overhaul him completely. Repaint the armor, and add the pouch (dyed in black) and self made holster.

Bane has been WIP for a few years now. I am still not satisfied with the body. I'm using the HT MMS117 Terminator at the moment, with the traps and lats already increased in size.
I want something bigger and more muscular, but there's nothing on the market yet. He's basically on hold until then, as I also haven't found anything suitable for the belt yet.

I'm not sure I ever got around to taking pictures of this. I got him a few months ago, been waiting for years for NECA to finally release him. I might repaint the eyes at some point.

I still need to buy and/or make a new cape for Bats.

I've thought about selling the EB Arnie a few times since I already have two HT versions, but everything I contemplate it, I look at the sculpt and immediately discard the idea.

And finally a group shot of everything while I was cleaning the Detolfs (sans the Spider Gremlin due to space).

Sculpt: by Erick Sosa, with neck removed and repainted
Upper body: ACI Andrew, with sculpted on traps and thicker neck
Lower body: TT advanced with sculpted on calf muscles
Hands: HT Demon Batman, repainted
Boots: by ashkanls, painted
Bodysuit: by Moe, resewn a bit
Cape, trunks, boot and glove sleeves: Tony Meis
Belt: HT 89 Batman (just the yellow belt underneath), repainted
Belt buckle and capsules: by Mike5401, painted
Bat emblem: EVILFACE decal, design by myself

I want to get the new Sideshow Batman as well. I don't like the head and mouth pieces, but the body has great potential it seems. I still have a set of Tony Mei's "Jim Lee blue" cape, trunks, glove and boot sleeves, so I just need a new sculpt then.

Done quite a bit of work again since the last update.

First up is my new Sideshow Batman. I'm waiting on my Erick Sosa/Tony Mei/Ashkan Jim Lee sculpts to update the head, as I absolutely hate the SS sculpts. The body is perfect for a comic Jim Lee version though. I immediately swapped the belts between my custom version and the new SS, as they each fit the other better I think. Now my custom Jim Lee version feels more like a real-life, but comic inspired Jim Lee Bats.
First shot out of the box, with belts swapped, but unmodified:

SS belt now modified on the "old" custom, with metal studs added as buttons. The yellow capsule belt on the headless SS is still just hanging there, I haven't worked on it yet to make it fit the SS body.

Next up is my custom Emperor. I finally decided to customize him, instead of him rotting away boxed up.
What I did was resculpt the head, repaint the sculpt and hands, put him on a new modified body, and make a new grey inner robe.
I still need to modify (sculpt and repaint) the new left relaxed hand I decided to use instead, the rest is pretty much done.
Since the initial shots below I added a bit more drybrushed white to it, toned down the red around the eyes slightly, and made his mouth a bit wider. The updated version can be seen in the last shots with Vader below.
Vader is still his original height in these shots, before I modified him (see below). I've also futzed the Emperor's pose and clothing a lot more since these shots, but they will have to do for now.

Finally, I modified Vader's body to make him shorter and more proportionate overall.
I replaced his midsection with an advanced TT midsection which I slightly modified to fit, shortened the forearms, and sanded down his sides slightly to be able to make his arms come in closer. Plus I lowered his dome and padded his arms, which I had already done earlier though.
The bodysuit and robes are completely unmodified, no restitching or cutting was involved, simply futzing. The original midsection is also 100% intact, so all changes are actually reversible as well just in case.

Before I extended his neck a bit by pulling the head a bit out of the socket, and before moving his chestbox a bit higher.

Almost final version, to properly show off his proportions. All I did afterwards was raise his belt and codpiece just a tiny bit, to get his legs a bit longer in proportion to his upper body.

That's high praise, Fernando! I think the Vader could definitely still be improved, but only with custom parts. Until then, this is as good as it gets for me.
