Just a little WIP of my (formerly) Top Secret project. When I saw this head in my Wal-Mart it didn't look anything like the guy on the package-Clay "The Carpenter" Guida. Instead, all I could see was Eddie Van Halen. So I threw this together. I put the head on a BL 2.5 body from Enterbay because I liked the arms. I thought they were a pretty good representation of Eddie's arms. He may be a little buff for Eddie but the wifebeater and guitar hide most of it. And before any naysayers start dissing the likeness, even my wife, who has trouble seeing a lot of likenesses sees it completely. And the guitar is just a placeholder and practice piece. I tried to tape the stripes but it is way too thick and I have lumps where they cross. I am waiting for another guitar and will probably mask and paint the stripes. The guitar was also spray painted once but I didn't clean it before I sprayed it and the paint bubble so I had to strip it hence the lumpy finish. When the new guitar comes in I am going to pitch this one.

Holy s**t. I'm surprised they fit! This is a MMA round 5 figure, right? If so, that has just saved me from sculpting a Gina Carano head, as I can just buy another one of her figures. :D

Did the head come off okay?

BTW, Clay Guida rules! :p

It was a little tough getting the head off as the hair was glued to the shoulders of the original figure. But some boiling water and a butter knife and off it came. The head is almost a little small for a full sized 1/6th figure, which is another reason it is on a Bruce Lee figure but for a femme figure I reckon the size ought to be ok. They have no real neck so you have to be prepared to do some dremelling to hollow out the head to put on a body that already has a neck.

Thanks for the reply, I already have a Gina Carano figure, but I've kept it on the card. So I was'nt sure. But looking at my figure, then looking at a few pictures of that Clay Guida figure on the net, I reckon his head is considerably bigger than Gina's. So I hope you're right that it'll be alright for a female body, because I think it's gonna be quite small. Arghhh!

Thanks for the kind words. I know he needs a cigarette but I am waiting for a guitar with real strings plus I am not crazy about the 1/6 cigs I have seen so I may make one myself. Also, not real sure about the tattoo. Did one as a waterslide decal with my Agent 47 figure and wasn't real happy withthe way it turned out. I am still thinking about how to do it.

That looks great! The head does resemble Eddie. My only comment would be that perhaps painting his eyebrows darker to match his hair would make it look even more like him. It's fine as-is too!

Thanks for the comment. I had thought of darkening his eyebrows but haven't gotten around to it yet. I will definitely do that. Thanks again.

Took the figure apart but I still have the haed and guitar around here somewhre PM me if you want to talk about me re-doing him.
