WOW! This figure is UNBELIEVABLE! The craftsmanship is just AMAZING! People are really going to kick them selves for missing on out this beauty, especially the DX! That Screaming sculpt is just all sorts of awesome and the metal sword is sick! I haven't seen anyone display the shield and I don't know why, its amazing as well! Bravo Denny and Team, Bravo! Quote me on this... this is my current favorite figure in my whole collection and I am never selling this thing, just amazing! Oh and the non screaming sculpt is fantastic too!

Nice to hear an enthusiastic in hand review, especially with all the great figs you have its high praise. I'll have to pick up a screaming war paint at some point. I bounced back and forth between the normal and screaming war paint, and finally settled on the normal, but now after seeing it posed looks very cool.

Nice to hear an enthusiastic in hand review, especially with all the great figs you have its high praise. I'll have to pick up a screaming war paint at some point. I bounced back and forth between the normal and screaming war paint, and finally settled on the normal, but now after seeing it posed looks very cool.

I have to say I keep staring at this figure, and I know its new and all the hype whatever but honestly this thing is amazing, I think because no one has ever really done a William Wallace before and especially not this good and I've never had a medieval figure before with swords and stuff, so badass!

Secondly, I've been offered a bare bones version of the Freedom Warrior that comes without the leather war vest or shield. Looking at your pics, they're the two items that seem to stand out most (after the head sculpt of course). The shield I can probably get over, the missing war vest might be a deal breaker though. Would you still consider this a worthy pick up decked out in just kilt and shirt?

Thanks for that. Don't know anyone who has picked this up yet, so an in hand opinion means a lot. Damn it, looks like I'm gonna have to pull the trigger on this before it's too late. I am a big fan of the movie, but I was kind of hoping I could maybe resist giving in to the urge as I've already got the Young Capo, Goodfellas and Dirty Harry on order. Oh well, it's only money....and space...and nagging from the wife.
