WOW!!!! congrats to those that have already recived this maquette, looks like they turned out fantastic...:clap:clap:clap

Well there's numbers 215 and 256...I'm surprised there are so many of these out there whose owners aren't on the forum.

Nice pics guys and Gals! Looks like he came out pretty good. UPS said they'll deliver mine on Wednesday but, it should be worth the wait. Congrats to those that already received him!

I pretty stoked about how much taller he is compared to the other 1/4s. He's gonna look great on the shelf next to his fellow 1/4 SS Aliens! :woo:

Thank you very much guys for posting pics! He turned out really amazing, I think we have a winner here :clap :yess:

Nice pics but I'm not sure if I'll pick this up. Not sold on it for some reason.

As awesome as I think it looks, the price is still turning me off. I've been hovering at the Sideshow page but can't seem to pull the trigger and hit "Add to Cart"....

For me it's the pose, but all other aspects, paint, sculpt, detail and scale are excellent..:clap

Ya that's probably it.

Ya, that's turning me off too :lol. I can do a lot with $900 other than get this one which I'm unsure about.

if your not turned on yet, you have to realize it still looks good with flash pictures, so that says a lot in itself.

Ya that's probably it.

Pfft yea after taxes and shipping, it's $900...I wasn't even thinking about it and now I am :(

I gave up getting a number of statues so I could get this guy. Now, I'm not sorry I did.

Good thing is, with an edition size this big, he'll be around for a long time so you have time to think about it and wait until you're sure.

That's what I'm thinking too, maybe in a few months I'll pick him up :D

he's already sold out in almost all major online retailers, so don't be so sure he will be easy to grab once some great pics start popping up.

Yeah, Fremen's pictures have "chicken littled" quite a few collectors in the past off of pieces, even though it is totally clear that she gives them the flash treatment, as I would too. I'm grateful to see her pics, but people really need to get a grip and realize they are quick flash photos.

Now, that said, this piece rocks, even with the flash on. As mentioned above. It is going to be awesome on display in my collection room...

very, very, soon... :D

It's true. Hopefully someone will get him in hand soon who takes good pics. There are a number of ppl on these forums that take amazing pictures.

There are! And I know you didn't take my comments as bashing your skills. I love seeing your collection and you do seem to get pieces quicker than many of us. Hell, I have a BFA in Photography, and all I post here are quick snaps with a cheap digital camera.

:lol

No. I don't take it as bashing. I know pics are way better without a flash. I'm just way too lazy to dig out my stand.

This looks awesome.

and i know pictures do not do it justice, cause I have the maquette and no picture i've seen has come close to capturing how good that one is.
