Alien Giger Maquette Inside Look

Since the SEGA is made of vinyl, it has better detailing and is still a great piece. But the pose is a bit static.
It's about 12" tall as well.

Here's mine...

I'm not generally a fan of the "just standing there" type poses.
It strikes me as remarkably lazy creatively.

It looks like it's based on the Alien prop suit not being used (ie the guy not in the suit). I prefer the Alien to have some form of movement and for the tail not to look so lifeless.

...........just standing up so static like that is prolly the most boring pose for any collectible i have ever seen. Its ok for a true 1:1 statue, but not something on a smaller scale.

Well, you said "It's just standing there..." which lead me to believe you didn't know much about the Alien, because it's always in very static poses.
Sorry if it came out the wrong way.
Giger's Alien wasn't meant to be in the Alien Resurrection/AvP type of poses.

It doesn't have to be at a stand at attention ready to salute military pose either... lol. However, if this is being sold as an exact replica of the costume case from the museum, then I suppose that's fine but I'd still pass. I prefer my Alien looking menacing anf scary and less like he's standing on a scale in a doctor's office.

I LOVE that Marmit vinyl. Never did get a chance to grab one. Super rare now.

I always did like the Marmit 99 A Type Pose. Looks like it's just about to warp it's hands around someone's head, like the Bret scene in the movie.
