I don't know anything about Mondo prints, but that seems absurd.

Yup, that was one of the two I was eyeing. If you're not there within 30 seconds after they go up you're ****ed.

to get the full affect, yes. I'd be pissed if I were that artist though. You put them for sale with a tiny ES and only ask $60, then once they sell out, they immediately pull in $300+.

Is it the best alien statue ever? no, not even close, but what is available I will be happy to buy this, reasonable price, very good detail. Been wanting to do an alien vs predator companion pieces, and with the jungle hunter maquette coming out in the next few years, think these 2 will be perfect to display.

This is the wrong scale to put with a maquette, it's 1/5. It is also a very artistic interpretation compared to the maquettes which are generally going for what we see on screen. I'm sure they will look good together none the less and I mix all scales. The recent insane prices might make me reconsider some of these cheaper pieces. Although I've always liked this anyway (lean aside) I'm just waiting for in hand pictures as I'm worried about the weight of it and the materials being used to produce it.

Unless we see them release a new alien piece, this may the best option, since alien statues on ebay etc are way too expensive
