Three Michael Jacksons? That's a bit too much.....

Oh wait, that's the newborn...:lol

But seriously, i'd repaint that sucker a little. He needs it. :D

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

Great score though dude.

I may have to pick this one up sometime.

He doesn't actually look that bad... dammit, now I might want one. Be cool to have a totally different Xeno in my collection. He'll look perfectly fine next to the RAH Alien, that's for sure.

Dammit. You got me! :slap:thud: Spent 10 minutes looking for it.:rotfl

I agree though. The Newborn needs some real washes to darken it up.

You're as bad as me for suddenly wanting stuff that wasn't on your radar till you saw it here. :lol

I ordered the 1/4 scale P1s the other week after previously having 'no interest' and I ordered the Revoltech Queen yesterday. I figure its probably the only proportionally accurate looking full body Aliens queen we'll get unless NECA takes it on.

If you consider it was made in 1998 and it's made by medicom the newborn isn't bad at all, we're just used to hot toys stuff. But back in the day I'm sure this figure kicked butt.

that's a nice collection. but you really need to invest in some displays and shelving.

The design of the "newborn" alien looks like arse to me so no matter how good of a figure even HT could make would be a pass in my book. Whatever is going on down between that things legs is nothing I would want in a display case...

Newborn>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Predalien.

:hi5::lecture:monkey1

Smilies sum it all up. In all seriousness, the new RAH Alien doesn't have a lot going on paint-wise either. Looks fairly dull and gray, with no washes or anything of the sort. Displaying them both away from the HT stuff ought to look just fine. It's not even a bad-looking figure; I'm impressed it was made in '98.

@A-dev: Completely agree with you on everything except for the Revoltech Queen :lol. The transparency is kind of a turn-off for me. The NECA 1/4 P1, however, is a total must. Every time I reminisce about the time I sold my HT P1, I keep reminding myself that NECA is planning to release the end-all, be-all of accurate Preds. Let's hope they live up to the dream.

I have some things on shelves, others I don't. I do not have a lot of space so I'm limited in what I could do, but idealy I agree with you.
well displays have several purposes. not only do they enhance the look and grandeur of your collection (which is kinda the whole point of having a collection), if done right, they also preserve your collectibles from dust and corrosion. which is a huge issue with all those HT aliens you got. i've got mine all sealed away in nice glass/acrylic cases and there isn't a single crack or speck of dust on them. keeping your expensive collectibles out on the carpet floor will eventually take its toll. we've both seen the horror stories on here. just sayin.

I'll be sure to post my thoughts on the Revoltech queen and pics if I can interrupt my lazy, unmotivated default setting. I probably won't have it before Christmas though as I'm keeping it in my pile of loot for now till other stuff comes in stock at BBTS.

The transparency is a bit silly but I'm hoping its not all that apparent...that a contradiction in terms? - the sculpt looks good and the super-poseability will be welcome after the two McFarlane queens (MMVI and AvPseries2) which were quite limited articulation-wise.
