Now that you’ve announced the Predator 2 Diorama, is that it for the Alien and Predator movies? I was hoping for an Alien Queen and a few other things from this line. Bummer if it’s over already.

Our Alien/Predator/AVP diorama line is far, FAR from done. So far, the products have been released in sort of film-release chronology sequence, but from here out, it’s fair game on all things Alien and Predator for the diorama line._____________________________ ______________________

There aren’t any new Alien franchise products in the San Diego list, not from Sideshow anyway! Are you still doing Alien stuff?

We thought we’d give our new Predator 2 Diorama and the Species Maquette time to shine at SDCC. Have no fear, there’s plenty of Alien stuff in the works - in fact - Sideshow and ADI (Amalgamated Dynamics, Inc) have been hard at work on some VERY cool stuff for 2009. Stay tuned to SideshowCollectibles.com!

I'm ressurecting this thread in the hopes that we hear an announcement soon from Sideshow for a Queen Diorama. I would take it any way they would dish her out: with no exclusive, or with and exclusive egg sack, warrior aliens around, or even with Ripley and Newt. I just want the damn thing made and in my collection. The previous four Alien releases have been great and I admire them all. Personally, I'm hoping SS does not go in the direction of making a diorama for each of the AVP films, and just skip to what we all want: the Queen!

They'll more than likely do an AvP Diorama before specific scenes or characters from any of the films that they've diorama-tized (made that word up, lol!).

I'll likely skip any new dioramas from AVP or AVP2, seeing as how crappy the economy is, losing hours at work, and saving my pennies for the real deal: the Aliens Queen!
