now that Clayface has gone up (and sold out for the exclusive edition) its time to put up Wolverine 2.0 and show off Storm or whoever is next

Hope they do Nightcrawler after the Wolverine 2.0. Would make for such an awesome and unique figure. Add some smoke effect, triple swords that his tail can hold, etc etc

Just got my uncanny Omega Red this week. Figure looks incredible. Although 1 knee has the remnants of the chrome spray paint but seems to be rubbing off ok and doesnt matter too much as behind the huge silver knee pad. Whole thing stinks right out of the box of fresh paint though, almost like the sprayed them then put em straight in.

Got my first animated X-Men figure today: Classic Cyclops! I really hope they release more of the characters how they appeared in the classic outfits as that’s the team I want to display, especially the outfit Storm rocked for the second part of the new season as opposed to the white shoulder padded fiasco from the 90s and also Jeans green/yellow ensemble!

Sorry but if we get Storm i want the 90s all white, shoulder pads and all.

I'm assuming with most characters they will handle it similar to how they did Cyclops. Doing both variants.

Regarding wants, I imagine they're done with '92 releases and will be simply doing '97. So with that I want them to redo Rogue, Jubilee, and Gambit in the same style. Both standard and new/classic outfits. Doesn't mean I don't want them to do Storm, Morph, Cable, Jean, Bishop, Nightcrawler, etc.etc. too.

Uncanny Omega Red came in today. Looks amazing.

And that's the end of the good news.

Elbows and knee joints are stuck solid. I'll try the hair dryer later. Should fix it, but my biggest concern is that the hip joints are a floppy mess. I can lightly shake the figure and his legs just wiggle around freely like they're is absolutely zero friction to hold them in place.

I'm not surprised.

Whats hilarious are these simple ass stands him and Sabertooth come with, as if they're gonna do anything for figures this heavy. Pointless addition that helps nothing.

Like I said, it looks amazing. But absolutely no love or thought was put into assembly. It's a friggin wrag doll with seized elbow and knee joints.

After release CS is cool... know what's even better? Addressing issues before they're even shipped. It's called QC.

I think these things are shipping out directly from China (hence all the DHL shipments over the last year) therefore Mondo can't even look these over first.

Oh yes, agree 100% on QC.

But it is what it is, when QC is bad, at least their CS is being communicative and they are responsible.
Unlike some other companies that just ignored complaints.
Mondo CS is top-notch, I hope they improve and make their QC top-notch as well.

I did a few, love extra heads, but put my stuff away to move.

You gave some great ideas. I love the kit bashing using extra pieces to create more characters. If only Mondo did Spidey better with more sculpts...sigh

I think the first one they released was tiger stripe wolverine and it had scale issues as well as lackluster Logan heads so it’s probably needed TBh. Also probably needed to keep the line going, if people can’t get their hands on a Wolverine at their retail price they are less inclined or want to buy the other characters.
