Maybe... I'd like to do one of him from the opening scene when he summons Hellboy, but the outfit is a problem. I'll probably at least do a modern version of him at some point.

I think the glove thing from the Mezco 7" figure might be big enough to work for this custom....

I would think it would be much too small, at least if you wanted it to be the same relative size seen in the movie. I'm exploring options for the glove, but the robe and other parts of the outfit are actually the biggest problem in my mind. (Well, that and the head sculpt.)

I got my Sammael bust yesterday. I don't collect busts, but I thought I should have some representation of Sammael in my Hellboy collection, and fireside collectibles had their last one on sale for $50 (regularly $130) so I got it. I'm not hugely impressed, to be honest. It's certainly not a bad piece, and for the price I paid I can't complain, but it doesn't have quite the "wow" factor I was hoping for. In fact, I gave it a going-over with some gloss coat because it just seemed too matte and subdued. That did help a bit, but the paint job is a bit less detailed than I had hoped, particularly around the teeth, which seem to have gotten nothing more than a simple drybrushing. He actually looks better in these pictures than in real life, since you can see more of the color and detail. In person, he is a bit too dark. Anyway, a nice but not super impressive piece, IMHO.

I'll probably eventually get the 1:6 Sammael Maquette, Too bad Hot Toys is not making a Sammael figure; after seeing their Predalien I think they could knock a Sammael out of the park.
