I ordered the Sammi... it will be tight affording it, but it is just so sick looking I can't pass it up.

personally Im a HUGE Hellboy fan and Ive wanted a Samaritan for a long time, but I hate paying over retail.
With the release of this new one I dont think id even pay retail at this point for the first one.... but thats me ...

if I had the original Id def keep it if I couldnt get what I want for it. Rather have both than let the first go at a lower price...

I'm usually all about keeping the original of something, but in all honesty this is one case where the 2nd version trumps in in every conceivable way.

To start of with you have the same kickass design, opening mechanics, etc add to that: Metal Vs Polystone, cooler looking /more versatile display (IMO), Wood grip, addition of 4 tracer bullets.

If I were in your shoes, I would sell it now, before the secondary price takes too much of a hit from this. As it is collectors looking for the 1st Sammi might not be aware of the new version, but that will only last for so long.

Yep, I think ordering this has officially put the kibosh on the Reservoir Dogs figures for me. $180 towards 3 so-so figures, $180 towards most kickass 1:1 prop ever... the decision is an easy one
