I'm not into the faux finish, so I still think the Howard Studios 1:1 bust is the best.

Looooooooooove the 1:1 bust, and even at lifesize this thing is massive!

:love

I just had to have it when I saw Disc 2 of the Hellboy Deluxe Set, I am a sucker when Sideshow releases pieces that are actual film replicas.

Matt Rose and even Jen, thanks! :rock

Yeah!!! Glad it arrived safely! :D :rock :rock

That is a great piece by Howard Sneft :clap , but as rough as it is (and of course that is the charm) the Sideshow 1:1 is a piece of movie history.

Anyway you can be assured that Sideshow will do another 1:1 and Right Hand of Doom.

:D

I couldn't help but notice the post count for this thread was 666. Here's 667!

the Hellbaby is still one of my favorite pieces in my collection ... :monkey1

Just read this funny little blurb at IMDB:

Mexican moviemaker Guillermo Del Toro has ruled out ever directing a romantic film - because he prefers blood and guts.

The Hellboy filmmaker loves making horror movies about scary creatures and fantasy characters - because it doesn't mirror reality.

He explains, "No way. Sleepless in Seattle can go ^^^^^k itself.

"Monsters are the most beautiful creatures in the universe. I have no interest in everyday life, except through a twisted mirror."

Release details... MSRP $300

HELLBOY 2: THE GOLDEN ARMY — ANGEL OF DEATH MAQUETTE
A Gentle Giant Sculpt! Guillermo del Toro masterfully created the Angel of Death, seen in this summer’s highly-anticipated film, Hellboy II: The Golden Army! This Angel
of Death Maquette is a reproduction of the actual maquette used in the pre-production filming of the movie. Imagine coming face-to-face with the Angel of Death in its
lair, an eyeless face with a vertical crack down its length, baring its razor-sharp teeth, and wings adorned with eyes. This maquette captures the mystique and intrigue of
this fascinating creature from the dead realm of Bethmora. The maquette stands 32 1/2” tall, with a wingspam of 19”. Painted and ready to display. Scheduled to ship
in December 2008.
