yeah I know what you mean.
That was back when the term maquette was being applied correctly as any sculpt used for movie effects conceptuals.
Its since evolved into a term for full sculpts.

Kinda like how Bowen uses the term Full Size to describe pieces that arent Full SIZE but Full SCULPTS.

OK..I just got home from seeing HB2 and i would have to give it a B- i was a bit disappointed in the dialogue.It just seemed like they tryed to put a little to much emphasis on love.The movie could of been about 15-20 minutes shorter maybe removing some of the love scenes.It was action packed though and i loved the BigBaby introduction.Just my 2 cents.

Hands down my favorite movie of the summer. The only negative I can think of is that it might have been crammed with too much great stuff. I can't remember the last time I walked out of a theater so happy.
I even have to give it up to Seth Mcfarlane, who I normally don't care for. His pronunciation of "focus" will be long remembered.

Sideshow stated in their official release concerning the license that 1:6 figures will be produced for HB2; I don't think anyone knows any more than that so far.

Just got back, loved the movie. Crammed with too much great stuff is right. If anyone has watched Venture Brothers it reminded me of the pacing of one of their episodes... except it was two hours intead 25 min. Awesome.

I just got back from it and loved it. GDT definitely allowed his imaginations to wander with this one and did anyone notice in the Troll Market when they first enter one of the "fairies" from Pan's Labyrinth made a quick appearance?

Definitely want a 1/6 of Prince Nuada and even Princess Nuala....definitely a redeux of Hellboy and Abe and get Liz and Johann Krauss. If done right I think this could be a very successful line....unfortunately seeing how the LOTR and even the Indy lines are being neglected I have my doubts of extensive releases.

I'm also secretly hoping that SSC and HT team up yet again and give up a member of the Golden Army.

I was disappointed that there had been no 1/6 announcements before seeing the movie. After the movie I became downright distraught. Aside from all the great creature characters, a Liz figure would be awesome, and her costume would hide the hideous female body very well.
