I recall somebody awhile back making a hot Toys conversion of Nazi Kroenen .....

someday I hope to make a custom Kroenen helmet that will just go over Red Skull's PF head to turn him into a Nazi Kroenen PF without dooing anything permanent to Red Skull ...

Question for you guys, should I go for hellboy 1:1 bust or pf? Pf will be alot lighter on my wallet and I think it's cool! Or should I really just go all out for the bust?

I posted this in another thread but it really belongs here. A reliable poster on the toy-world boards just posted the info. Two figures are in development right now by Hot Toys...Hellboy himself and Abe. Hellboy is pretty further along development and will feature Hot Toy's muscle body. Abe is still being worked on.

If you don't have strong feelings either way, probably go for the PF since it's cheaper. And personally I am a little underwhelmed by the bust.

King Darkness, which coat did you use on your Kroenen? I currently have Spike's coat on my bash but I think I like that one better for Kroenen.

They couldn't release a Kroenen since their license (assuming they can work something out with Sideshow as has been rumored) would be for HB2. I don't think it's necessary anyway. Kroenen was a very good figure overall. It's only real problem is the Buck body.

Probably right... unless of course they market them as kits, or some other method that would be based off of a different license.

Not necessarily the case. HT figures are internationally offered, all of them have to be imported into the United States because they are not domestically offered by HT.

Any Hellboy License would be for international markets so they very well could offer things from both HB movies.

That would be great... and if the rumor about the muscle body is true (especially if they use the newer style we saw on the Dutch figure) the HB could be stellar.

I imagine they could even add in all the upper arm detail on his right arm

I'd be excited, except I just started doing this:

When you guys say "muscle body", are you talking the rubber body type? Because maybe I won't be quite as upset then. I'm exceptionally wary of the rubber stuff. I'm so afraid I'm gonna hurt my new Batman by just looking at him.

If its one of the new ones, it looks like a bit of a combo... the Dutch figure seemed to have the rubber chest, but the arms were seperate (still rubber I think) and woudl allow for a much better range of movement.

And honestly, since their first releases the muscle bodies have really improved and I haven't had any issues with the 4 I've owned.

Hot toys listen to their customers. Hopefully by now they have found a way to make the rubber not so fragile and crappy. Yep... its probably gonna be rubber.

Hey everybody. I've been working on making my own kroenen exclusive. I have all of it ready except I need a hat. The only one that resembles it is a DID Josef Wunsche figure. Anyone have any ideas where I can get the correct or similar hat from. I 've tried ebay and the only one I found is already a little too expensive. Any help you can give I would greatly apprciate it.

I used the hat from the Dragon "Willi Bauer" figure (I believe I got it from War-toys.com, but I don't know if they have any more.) I think it looks good, but you should be advised that it's considerably too small to fit on the Kroenen head -- particularly wearing his mask. I had to alter the hat to make it fit. I imagine the same would be true of any WWII figure hat you might buy, though.

hot toys are making me bankrupt. If they are making hellboy and Abe , I will be buying both and getting rid of my sideshow figures.
Once its confirmed I will sell them all except my custom Nazi Kroenen.
Hopefully he wont look crappy compared to hot toys efforts.

As much as I know that the HT versions (if true) would be superior to the Sideshow line, I would never let them go cuz I crave Hellboy that much and more

I'm looking for the diameter of the bullets that come with the gun. I'm looking into making some in brass and silver.

The back of the bullet reads 22mm... It measures out to about an inch, but that's including the lip... Don't know if that helps
