Hellboy Extreme!!! Gotta love that one. Definately one of my favorites. I also really like the 18" mezco hellboys...

I got the Gentle Giant animated Hellboy and Abe Sapien when they had their 50% off sale and they arrived the other day. I'm very impressed with how good they look. The design is outstanding, and the paint applications are pretty much flawless. Makes most of the Mezco HB2 movie figures look terribly by comparison, I'm afraid.

Finally opened the trenchcoat for one of my GG ones!!!

I like and have both the comic and movie versions of the 18" hellboy. I have hellboy extreme also and some sideshow hellboy statues. I was looking at getting the animated dvd package with the hellboy figure. It looks like there are 2 versions. I've seen michael crawfords review on the one with the extra hands. It looks like the other comes with a sword? Anyone know if it comes with anything else? Which one is better?? I have the chance to get the figure with the sword/movie pack for 15.00 shipped, just not sure if I want that one or the other one...

The newer release with both movies comes with the sword. For $15 shipped you can't loose. The first DVD figure had a cigar-mouth headsculpt, not sure about the new one. Other than that I think it is the same figure + a sword that is new for this release.

Not sure about the hands, sorry. I bought the first figure that came with the second animated dvd and the the regular GG line. All the Hellboys came with the interchangeable hands so I assumed this new one with the 2 dvd set did also. I just think the sword is cooler than the cigar head and for $15 you can't beat a cool figure and 2 movies.

That figure is a little too extreme for me... GREAT trenchcoat, though.

And yes, the Mezco comic line rocks. I still need quite a few figures though to complete my set.
