It's a running change on Psylocke, the black hair was an error so the more recent releases coming out will have purple hair also, the blue of her costume is darker on the purple hair version:

It's similar to the variant of Mysterio, the first version has a trans-green head, the most recent releases have a trans-clear head. Mine's trans-clear, I wouldv'e preferred the trans-green but at least I found one.

Holy crap! I do not like the purple hair... I hope this won’t be another situation where I’m kicking myself in the teeth for months like with Mysterio. My LCS had him right when he released and his head was green. Looked amazing and the manager tried to sell me on him, but I didn’t want to pay the extra $15 markup they wanted. I figured I’d scoop him at Walmart later. Pfft... Shyeah right! If only I’d known...

What a wacky one in a million experience at Walgreens.


Ok here goes.


Worker in the toy aisle putting inventory on shelves but says that no toys are on her large cart.


I asked her specifically about Thing.


She says she will go check in the back but that action figures arrive at her location only on Wednesdays but that each Walgreens has different days for toy deliveries not all locations are on Wednesdays.


She returns with no Thing but has Wolverine, Sabertooth, Psylocke and Storm in her hands.


I purchased the Wolverine and Sabertooth for $20 each and cancelled my BBTS $27.00 plus shipping preorders yes cha ching!


Just like with the other Walgreens I leave my name and number for them to call me if Thing and Surfer come in.


My suggestion is communicate with the workers have them check the back do not just see an empty shelf give up and walk out!


You already spent your valuable time and gas put some extra effort it can’t hurt.


Look at my situation she said Wednesday was delivery but items were still sitting in the back.


Network yourself leave your name and number it will only serve to save you time and gas in the future even if only half of the stores take it seriously and call you back you are already doing better than those that didn’t take the extra step to network and lost out on the product.


I saved $22 by simply asking for her to check the back for me.

That saving just paid for another figure AND I saved money and still got the products BEFORE BBTS think about that.

Yeah, it's a bonehead Hasbro decision.
What I'm thinking of doing is, when I eventually get Ronan I'll heat up the head in a cup of hot water and slowly pry off the hood. How I'll attach it to the body to keep it in place will be a mystery, but it would allow me to turn the head independently at least.
I did that to my Ant-Man Rudd head to improve how the hair sat on the head.

I'll give it a try, luckily my local Walgreen is close, which can't be said for ANY other store that carries these in my area.
I love that Walgreens is carrying these now, I have 3 within 7 miles of me, and I can pick up their Nice! brand chocolate covered cashews while I'm there!

I did just what you did on the TRU Vision/Scarlet Witch two pack which I got the other day, picked it up cheaper somewhere else and canceled my BBTS order.
The Vision is just amazing! Perfect sculpt and paint, makes me wish Hasbro reproduced this at 12" scale because I think it'll look better than the HT Vision. Scarlet Witch unfortunately had face paint slightly off registry. luckily I just scrapped the inner part of her left eyebrow paint off which helped to even the symmetry. Now she's almost perfect, a little eyeshadow is off but it's not a huge problem.

I was expecting the same claws from the Brown suit on the new Wolverine but they’re painted more gun metal metallic on the new one and the plastic feels sturdier.

I like these new claws better.

Sure they’re still not better than a custom but they get the job done for a group pose on the shelf.

And boil the head! Pull it out and hold the mask fins away from the head a bit and immediately put in a bowl of ice water for a minute. It’ll look waaaaay better.

I went to three and spoke with an employee at two, same results. They do have a S#-- load of Namor and Invisible Woman though, even saw a couple of Medusa. Newest wave I saw was a couple from the Sasquatch wave.
