hah I did the same thing with the two I had in front of me, I settled for the better face paint on Hulk
lol and I'm still am trying to score a SDCC Red Skull/Tesseract set on ebay as well, that'll be another $75!

At $75 I went thru all 3 of them (I was holding the 3rd one when I took tha pic) with a fine toothed comb I was there quite awhile!

How far off is the paint apps on them? So far I've only looked at two Cap. America/Crossbones and two Ronan and I've found that theyv'e been consistent paint wise. The paint on the same figs. in Youtube reviews have also been consistent, the hair pieces have been poor fitting in them though.

I also feel like a weirdo by onlookers when I look through the multiples trying to find the best, but that has saved me some avoidable headaches so ultimately it's worth looking like a nut job.

Oh gosh I look like the biggest nerd staring at action figures for 5 straight minutes in the toy aisle but screw it these things are not cheap anymore and it saves a return exchange trip.

I bring my son to look like i’m buying for him lol

All 3 were near mint only 1 HB had a very minor thin scratch on his chest armor but that was it for blemishes

I had to accept a minor chest blemish on Hulkbuster to get the Hulk with better hair placement. 1'st world problems lol

This past month has been crazy for ML figs. I have to stop for a while.... after Apocalypse is complete of course.

I got a mint Hulk and his matte color is better than the glossy green from the original release.

Lets be realistic here though this set does not warrant a $70 price tag it’s not like it came with an alternate Hulk head or Hulkbuster hammer arm.

This is really a $50-$55 max set so you’re definately paying that extra $15-$20 but if you need the Hulkbuster then you’re left with no choice other than to take the plunge.

oh definitely, the entire 10th anniversary line is overpriced, and this set is the worst example of that. They’re using the better paint apps as an excuse, buuuut they made the same improvements to the winter soldier/falcon pack and thats a regular ML release at $40.
