Repaint hell, but loving every minute of it

I've seen this and love the color scheme, but is there a basis for it? Was he black in any of the series or was this just a repaint for the hell of it?

Either way, he looks good, sucks about your knee issues with him.

It's all good with the knees now! RK sent me replacement knee joints as soon as I emailed them with photos, and I did the required disassembly to replace. Now good as new.

But the plastic is very soft and I can see tiny little cracks on the new joints, so there's no way in hell I'll ever transform it.

But I hate the MP-9 transformation the most, so rarely do it anyway.

Awesome pic. I got Silverstreak tonight, and just finished transforming him. I like Prowl as a character more, but this figure may be better

I really like his head.

I wholeheartedly concur with the comments on Streak's headsculpt, the rest of the figure isn't bad either, he's my favorite TF right now

I think the renders look OK but I wouldn't drop money on an official product based on renders alone, let alone one from a 3rd party making their first fully transforming robot.

It may well turn out to be a great representation of Skyfire and I hope it does, but I'm positive that an official one would be better, Takara are just that good at the moment.

An official one is probably unlikely for a good while but it's not a priority character for me so there's no real rush.

I'm eager to see what Fans Toys have got lined up next as they're the only 3rd party I have any major intrest in nowadays.

Blaster would be nice and is what I expect their next release to be but I'd sooner see them do something else eg,

DINOBOTS!

And I don't mean a Grimlock that's 2cm taller than the existing one

Every one I've seen has it to some degree. Just a little area in the same place where it seems like the paint was touching something else before it completely dried...

Thankfully mine is very, very small.

mine's fairly small too. glad to know it's widespread. didn't wanna deal with sending it back to swap.

Are there other pics? Because that one makes him look pretty... I dunno, uninspired and G1 brick-ish.

Just doesn't really inspire me with much confidence that this is going to be a must-have. Plus, as Corsair mentioned, if this is an untested third party company... yeah, not gonna risk a dud, in terms of build, QC, etc.

I've seen three in person now. They all had it to some degree. And I've heard of many others having it, too... Mine is really barely noticeable, though.
