That Wheeljack is gorgeous. Very excited about him and Bumblebee. I appreciate Magnus for being such a wacky, flawed character, but I'm avoiding the '86ers.

I hear you on Magnus, though I would have gotten him anyway, as he's a Diaclone design and thus fits in, imo. I did consider not getting the '86 characters, but... well, no. :)

I literally cannot wait for Magnus now.

Reading that guff from BBTS has only made him one of my most wanted figures of the year, can't wait to see how the transformation works for the MP10 figure to fit the armour.

I know most don't go for the '86 crew but he is still one of my best loved toys from when I was a kid.

I really want Cyclonus now as well.

Neil

Figuratively, my friend. ;)

Sorry, it's my new pet peeve. Must be from watching Archer. :) Anyway, I agree - I REALLY want Magnus too. Like I said above, I have considered skipping the '86 'bots altogether in the past - except Magnus. He gets a pass, and I really do think it's because he's a Diaclone design. He just fits in better with the earlier figures than the others.

Bumblebee is so unimpressive as a Transformer but that's what makes him bumblebee. The character nobody wanted to play with as a kid but vital to any Autobot collection lol

Looks good in an unimpressive Bumblebee type way!

Well said! Honestly, this is why I like him. Provides a bit of variety, as a character and on the shelf, too.

Lol it's good man, I will be the first to admit I'm not very good with the correct vocabulary.

Yeah as far as the '86 figures go Magnus is a must.
I know most people don't really go for him but I loved him ever since I first got him.
Hoping the MP lives up to expectations.

soundwave probably won't be responding to your post, dprime. Since he literally could not wait, he fell into a catatonic state and had to be hospitalized.

Lol I have successfully developed a technique to hibernate until some new MP news is announced or the figures actually arrive.

Another Scoria review. I think this one has better lighting

"He can look up....like a squirrel!" :lol

The sound effects for the demonstrations of the light on the gun and the rage faces were funny too! :lol

Scoria is going to be amazing. Everything about it screams quality, I'm even looking forward to the transformation which is very rare for me.

If Swoop is next then that'll be great, but if they bump Snarl up their schedule and get it released before their competition then they'll establish a sizeable advantage.

Yeah it's a great review. Very funny !!!

Although Swoop is my fave dinobot I would happily take Snarl next.

Bob

My mrs is buying me Grimlock and I've got scoria on PO happy days :)
This review swung it for me. Optibotimus seems like a nice guy but he needs to get pointers off this reviewer. His dancing hands are just too annoying and he doesn't know how to futz with a figure so you don't get the full benefit of what it offers - poor reviewing.

He doesn't take well to criticism either. Every time I see someone leave any kind of comment to improve his reviews he gets super defensive and throws a hissy fit about it. Reviewers like Peaugh and Emgo genuinely love the toys and want to share them with people, but when I watch Optibotimus reviews I always feel like he is trying to peddle a products to consumers.

It just gets old seeing the same **** brought up about the same fellow freak, first we have to see it in every thread review he starts, because people act like they are giving us late breaking news, now its even when his video isn't the one being talked about. The mans true love may be Transformers, but no wonder he won't participate in this thread. Theres not a reviewer out there that can't be scrutinized, especially if someone is throwing Emgo's name out there.

OMG HANDS OMG HANDS :horse

Yes, I do not like reviewers pitching a product to fans like they working for the company. I like to hear the pros and cons of a product and comparison to similar competitive products.

is bumble bee going to come with the ex suit or is that an exclusive type of deal?

In the Scoria thread at TFW Fans Toys have dropped a large hint they're going to be doing Reflector.

An intresting option to mix in amongst their Dinobots and that other Autobot who's name escapes me.

Re:reviewers,

If I'm intrested enough in a toy to watch a review then most of the time, I'm already more or less decided that I'll buy it so all the reviewers that give products the hard sell don't really bother me.

Looking at it from their perspective I imagine it's hard to be too critical of anything if they've been sent it for free, there's a natural reluctance to avoid upsetting the company that sent you the freebie in case they don't send you anything else.

My main reason for watching video reviews is to look at the transformations.

Yeah definitely the main reason for watching a review is for the product but it also helps if the reviewer is watchable too.
A couple of folk have suddenly got super defensive about the fact I've brought up two factors I really don't like about the guy. However, it's all about opinion and that's mine, like it or not. Not sure who the 'don't insult the person' was directed at because I certainly haven't?! Anyway, like I say he's seems like a good bean but this other guy who reviewed the figure nailed it; to the extent that I've PO'd Scoria and MP Grimlock is on his way (along with Warden and kids Logic Prime) :D

lol, nice. :)

Don't worry about it - EVERYONE says it that way. I probably did too, at one point - now I'm a man on a mission! :)

Yup! I'm sure he will.

Yeah, I saw that - asking how big he should be. I want to say maybe a tad smaller than the Autobot cars, but to be quite honest, I'm not sure if they were even on that scale chart floating around...

I would happily take Reflector, as I would be VERY surprised if Takara ever made one of their own.

Honestly, I rarely watch these. I just don't have the time to devote 30 mins to a Transformer review. I just scan the feedback threads on TFW... I've got two little kids at home, any time when they're both asleep is rare and precious!!! ;)

Probably the first and last time I order from HLJ and use EMS. Shrink wrapping my MP's to a piece of cardboard(crushing the box in the process) and no other filler in the box? Smh. And apparently EMS has pitbulls loading boxes these days...surprised it wasnt stolen.

ON a positive note I got my most wanted G1 figure, MIB prerub Hound!!! I cannot believe how great a condition this guy is in after all these years, simply stunning! Now bring on my MP Hound Takara!
