Never considered getting the US releases. I only collect the Takara Versions.

I will be getting my order of the Transformers Masterpiece from BBTS on Monday. Now that I'm collecting this line, I can't wait to see who gets the Masterpiece treatment. As suggested before, I would love to see the rest of the Dinobots and Constructicons. Also I would love to see the 3 Insecticons get Masterpiece treatments. I still remember the "Plague of Insecticons" episode and their cool voices. Come on Takara what about Shrapnel, Bombshell, and Kickback?

YAY! It's been a while since an alleged insider/attention seeker has made some BS claim about future plans.

I'm still waiting for Sunstreaker, Mirage, Hound, Galvatron and Megatron 2.0....they were all definitely being released according to those jokers.

Anyone want to take guesses on what the next masterpiece figure (MP-23)will be? My guess Hound (wishful thinking). Will probably be one of the van bros tho.

I would kill for the Insecticons they are easily my most wanted Decepticons even more than Megatron

They are some of my ultimate faves from back in the day so having them in the line up would be awesome!!

I'm dying to know who's next personally my money is on Mirage but more importantly than that is when we will actually see Wheeljack...come on Takara release him already!!

Someone else from the '86 movie to go with the exosuit and Ultra Magnus.....the most likely options are Galvatron or a new Hot Rod scaled to the other Autobot cars.

Alternatively it could be Star Saber.

I also think there'll be some kind of Bumblebee variant but that'll just be called MP21-G ( if it's the G2 gold chrome ) or whatever.

Only gripe against these guys are:

no rubber wheels?
shoddy paint app
plasticky (no heft)

But all that doesn't ruin the awesomeness of the Masterpiece line and the nostalgia these guys bring. The head sculpts are so true to the G1 toys and cartoon and the transformation is top-notch. No regrets. I will continue to look out for the next MP figure.
