They've been selling the Henkei figures like Optimus Prime and Megatron for around $45. The Ultras are bigger and more expensive (in terms of MSRP) than those, correct?

That's what I was thinking, and yeah, all of the Henkeis are exclusives to the people in the U.S. and every other country that isn't Japan.

My point is that you have two levels of "exclusiveness" that will affect a figure's price. If it's just exclusive to Japan, it'll be one price. But if it's exclusive within Japan, it'll be even more expensive.

looks like BBTS now has henkei thundercracker on preorder by himself for $75. no single skywarp though. that's still alot for this guy. i might just get some decepticon stickers and "upgrade" my hasbro skywarp. maybe ill pick up thundercracker later.

Awesome dude! Turns out I can get them to, a dealer will have them at next week Transformers convention here. Bit pricey though, 60 euros a piece, which is what, 80/90 dollars?

That's the beauty of their techniques advancing over the years, we get better and better toys!

It also helps that they designed the toys after (and/or during) the creation of the cartoon, rather than designing the cartoon around existing toys, as they had to with the G1 series.

So this morning I am getting off work, I am in booth where we check credentials for trucks entering our state. I look and up and see.....IRON HIDE!!!!! That right f'n Iron Hide They are being production on Transformers 2 in Phildephia,PA on Tuesday and this truck was taking Iron Hide and some 3 wheeled motorcycle things to Philly. I took some pix with my cell phone of the motorcycle things. The driver told me that I better not put these on the net, Anyway here are the pix I took. These cycles dont look factory to me, so maybe new Transformers???? And Iron Hide is HUGE!!!! Mother^^^^in' HUGE!!!! Made my whole week getting to see Irin Hide up close. The driver said Optimus Prime was coming through on Tuesday but I will be off, But God damn was it cool to see Iron Hide, my favorite vehicle design from the movie!!!!!

I have never seen one. It has 2 wheels in the front and one in back. I dont know if these are factory built bikes or something special for the film.

Do you guys think that they could be crew bikes. Like the bikes that crew members would ride if they needed to reach one of the vehicles that was down the road some bit, or if they are bikes that the main characters or extras ride along sidde the bots.

I made my night at work thats for sure. I about crapped myself when I saw Iron Hide on that trailer. The driver thought it was funny how excited I got.
