If Fan Toys does reveal Skyfire,I will be selling Kronos for a great price

:wink1:

Can't wait to see the rest of the Insecticons.
I saw Kapow Tweeted today about Badcubes versions which do look good too.

I reckon we will see Skyfire.

Nice

Can't wait to see your pics of them all.

STILL not done anything with Megatron...I am seriously slacking

I think so

Giga Power have done Snarl so far & he looks like an absolute beast...much more in line with the (Wildly varying) cartoon scale but they have yet to tease any others & without knowing if they'll don the rest seems like a gamble to get into them.

Fans Toys however have a proven track record & already have 2 on the market with Snarl due any time now & proto for Sludge out means it's almost a home run for them now.

Neil

I like the look of the Giga Power Snarl more than any other line, but there is a fundamental flaw with the screws used in the hips and they have to be replaced or the plastic inside will eventually snap. If anyone has Giga Power Guttur, you should contact the store you bought it from and ask to get replacement screws for the hips (if the left leg is loose, it's already starting to manifest)...

So far I'm in on the Fansproject and GCreations dinobots, I don't think I'll be going into a 3rd line but damn is that Guttur figure ever cool looking... it's as big as Ultra Magnus... pure monster of a figure!

Well said. FT is on a different league, the have a PROVEN record that they are capable of making great MP style TF's.

BUT, this was GIGA's first attempt, and they took on FT's head on, and the results are impressive. There are mistakes to be made, of course. But they have acknowledged Guttur's faults and they are providing help. That's a good start.

I personally love the size of Guttur compared to FT's Dino's, but that's not to say that I think they are better. Just personal preference.

I'm in for whatever else FT reveals, just not the Dinos. I hope GIGA follows through though. Because if not, then I'll be ****ed with aftermarket prices if I decide to get FT's Dinos later on.

Does Fans Toys have the best 3rd party MP versions of the dinobots? I want to have a complete MP dinobots but Takara seems not interested in completing the dinobots in the MP line.

We'll see a real life Jurassic Park come into existence before Takara ever make another Dinobot :lol

For me there's no contest in the MP Dinobot war, Fans Toys all the way.

Giga Power's Snarl looks nice in dinosaur mode but the robot mode looks too big and bloated for my liking.

FT have also stuck to a very cartoon oriented aesthetic whereas Giga appear to have changed their mind on only their second figure. Guttur went for more of a G1 toy look in terms of where the dino leg kibble was situated in robot mode but their take on Slag appears to have taken a leaf out of Scoria's book so if they keep chopping and changing between toy & cartoon their final set will look very inconsistent.

I started with FansToys and will stick with them for all the Dinobots. I'm really happy with the two I have so far--hopefully the third will be here soon. If they keep going the way they have been then I could see having the entire roster of Dinobots by Summer next year

dalianj has said that the first run of Sludge will come with a fun extra, a set of comedy eyes so we can recreate this expression,

:lol

Ack now you've got me rethinking Guttur... I think I might have to get into that 3rd line now.... ah crap... I might as well give all these Transformers companies direct access to my bank account lol...

Thanks for the link Spark. I noticed they're smaller than Takara's MP-08 but that combined mode looks awesome.

Is there a difference from the 1st run and 2nd run of MP-12 Sideswipe?

The reissue MP-12 will come with a yet undisclosed exclusive accessory. Other than that nothing else is mentioned. The US price will be cheaper than the 1st run and there may be hope that the QC on the paint will be better than the first time around. But it's basically the same thing at a cheaper price and you know it's not a KO if you buy from a reputable dealer. I'll be picking up a 2nd one.

I believe that is the asia reissue you're saying and I think is the 3rd run if I'm correct. BBTS has listed for sometime now the 2nd run and was wondering what the difference is, if it has from the 1st run. :)

Yes, the asia reissue is the 3rd not 2nd run, my bad I'm just generalizing between the old stuff and this new listing. The difference between the 1st and 2nd was supposed to be better paint QC (but didn't necessarily turn out that way in practice according to many accounts) and a better fit on the side panels in alt mode (don't know if that panned out either). The other difference was the head sculpt was improved making it symmetrical on the sides of the cheeks. On the original run some/all had cheek section with one like [] and the other filled in like [|] or something to that effect. Pretty sure that covers it. Basically not much difference. In any case, I'd suggest waiting to get this new reissue in Sept for another chance at improved paint job as well as a unique accessory.

Preorder page for the MP-12 reissue went up on Robot Kingdom yesterday. Price is $49.90 USD

Here is the link: Takara Asia Exclusive Transformers Masterpiece MP-12 - Lambor with Newly Designed Exclusive Coin. Preorder. Available in September 2015.

Also up for preorder from Australian site Premium Collectables for $69.00 AUD here: Transformers Takara Tomy MP-12 Lambor (Sideswipe) | www.premiumcollectables.com.au

Robot Kingdom usually gets you on the shipping... they'll probably charge $20 or more to ship... but if you buy several items it becomes really worth it, their shipping rates go down really fast... I think I paid like $45 to ship the Takara Tomy DMK01 kit + the APS-01U Jet Wing optimus last week... which isn't bad, the box was the size of a small bus lol...

The trick is to find it on preorder on HLJ/Amiami/Anime-Export or Nippon Yasan when it first goes up, it's like an instant 30% savings... they get you on shipping too, but you come out slightly ahead over the US retailers and RK...

BBTS are starting to ship Apollyon orders.

TFS-Express in the UK are expecting to recieve their stock either tomorrow or Friday.

Time to rearrange my Decepticon shelf, the boss is almost here! :yess:
