I got my TRU Starscream tonight, and. . .just like Soundwave, he's on par with the Takara version. There are differences, but they seem very slight. Plastic quality is about the same, paint apps are about the same, joints are just about equally tight. Tremendous value for your buck. I'm going to be selling my Takara one.

seems this isn't here yet.

Next two masterpiece figures in display at a Japanese toy show.

All things transformers!!!!

HOLY ****.

Selling Quakewave RIGHT NOW. Can't believe they finally did it. And that proto looks better than any other Shockwave on the market right now.

And that HR looks insane.

Well there you go! Fans Toys needs to get back on schedule and get Sludge,Insecticons and Hound out now instead of re-issue Shockwave

hell, i HAVE quakewave, and I'm still getting this.

Now that you mention it, I was just getting my Quakewave from my display in order to clean it and pack it.... But man, it is such a WONDERFUL toy that I'm sort of having a hard time thinking about selling him now. Or even how on earth is TT going to make something as magnificent. Some say its overrated, but its not IMO.

**** it, I'm keeping it. One shall be used in gun mode while the other in robot mode.

Cancelled my PO on FT Quakewave. Hope Megatron isn't far behind. So excited on MP Shockwave and MP Hot Rod!

You guys think Takara will make MP Insecticons? Just when I bought all the Fans Toys dinobots, I have a gut feel Takara will do a new MP Grimlock and maybe the rest of the dinobots.

I couldn't agree more.

I never did pre-order the QW re-issue because to be honest have him not have him wasn't really an issue I could easily live without but I do think I will get the TT version.

And Hot Rod just looks all kinds of awesome.

It's funny because I brought my MP-09 in to work yesterday to show some people & it made me remember just how weak he was.
Still looks ok but so utterly flimsy & I was actually concerned just holding him as nothing felt secure but I will be all over Hot Rod.
I know he has a million haters but I do still quite like him & have really fond memories of the original toy (have the Hot Rodimus TRU re-issue still) so he does need to be in the collection.

Of course this does mean that not have Magnus in the collection now is definitely going to be a more glaring ommision :(

Might have to sell somethings to rectify that mistake now.

Thanks all for the pictures it's great to see them.

Shockwave looks great, but does it look almost too simple now? I know a lot of people don't like the extra details on third party figures, so maybe it's just me. Really pumped to see the paint on this one though.

The timing of this is pretty hilarious with Quakewave on the brink of being ready and brand new pics of Quakeblast surfacing like 3 days ago. The Transformers market is getting so interesting, fun, awesome, and ridiculously financially not feasible for me anymore!

Shockwave looks great, though he does seem to have very skinny feet! I much prefer this design to Quakewave as the legs are a definite improvement, and no doubt we'll get the correct shade of purple first time around with this one.

Not sure I want movie figures so I'm on the fence about Hot Rod at the moment, but it looks fantastic too.

Pretty surprised the Shockwave rumor turned out to be true since that so rarely seems to happen. Also not too hot on how he or Hot Rod look. Both are kinda top heavy and have skinny legs. From Ultra Magnus onward haven't been terribly impressed with any of the official MP stuff.

I assume that's down to the different designers being involved now.
Pretty sure from what Corsair said the previous designer was moved to other areas of delevopment & as such we have seen a fairly lacklustre run of official MP's from Takara.

While it's still a work in progress, I honestly like the look of this much better. I hope they don't decide to cancel it now that Takara is making one.
