Rumor was the next G1 MP would be "out of left field". So much for everyone who keeps saying this or that carbot won't come out because of licensing. Anyone who talks about licensing issues probably has no idea what they are talking about - this and Bumblebee proves that. Jazz & Mirage is incoming for sure.

Crap. I just got the Badcube version a couple of months ago...and the Reprolabels to make it "official." this absolutely kills it! Nature of the hobby, I guess...there's always a better version in the works, somewhere,lol. No way I'm not ordering it

Cool, yeh if there is any it looks to be limited to the chromed 'air scoops'. I cannot wait to see some pictures with his twin brother.

I've worked with licensees in the past and they only really care about how much money they are going to make and to ensure their brand is not used for anything controversial or that would cause them negative publicity. It is highly unlikely anyone in the licensing department at Lamborghini cares about how Takara designs the toy's transformation.

I've got the Badcube version and I have to admit Takara's definitely looks best this time! Particularly when it comes to the lower legs and feet. Don't think I'll bother upgrading though, as my mini-bots are in front of Sunstreaker so the feet are obscured.

@Franpincho: I'm looking forward to FT Skyfire as well, determined to squeeze it into my Detolf!

If there was any truth to the rumors that Sunstreaker was being held up due to his car mode being custom/modified instead of a true Lamborghini, it appears Takara-Tomy resolved that issue by making the cartoon-accurate extra gear on the back stow away to meet those licensing requirements. Very, very clever!

There's not one part of this that's shared with the Sideswipe mold; although they technically turn into the same vehicle, like Masterpiece Optimus Prime & Ultra Magnus they are entirely different beasts.

I got the Titans Return Sky Shadow fairly recently, and I just noticed something funny on his leg.

It looks like they wrote something on him when he was in the factory. I got him right when he hit Target's shelf, and his box was sealed so I don't think someone opened him and did it. Anyone know what it could mean or why it's there?

I don't get the love for Sunstreaker myself. He looks like a mess to me. Similar issues as I had with Megs but worse and a less appealing overall look than Megs. I don't love Bad Cubes but I really dislike TT's. I really like that Omni one, just a shame it was so badly produced.
