My knock-off ones didn't have any die-cast parts, and the decepticon stickers were obviously wrong (paper instead of foil). There were some other problems as I recall. I was pretty disappointed.

yeah this guy said they are G1 from 1986, we'll see. I had to get the Constructicons and it was a bonus it came with G1 Grimlock and the Insecticons.

Beautiful toys. FRIG! I STILL DON'T HAVE MY G1 JETFIRE YET! I WANT THAT TOY SO BADLY.

I really should get a set of destructicons. I have two knock-offs. One is the yellow set they were selling at Big Lots for like $6. The other is one that I bought on ebay from someone who said they were the real thing. They claimed they were selling them for a friend and didn't know they were knock-offs and gave me my money back, plus I got to keep them. They're basically cheap crap though.

Yeah, I need to do that as well...been wanting a Devastator set for awhile. But I've got my TF collecting on hold this year aside from a couple reissues and the new Classics/Universe figures. Animated just doesn't do it for me.

AND GUIDO GUIDI) and who let the company go belly up while keeping the Porsche he bought from the money he didn't use to pay his artists?

Amen to that. I give Pat Lee credit for helping to jumpstart the Transformers comics franchise again, but beyond that...bleh. His artwork has some horrible errors in it (of what he actually does draw himself and not ghost under someone else) and his business practices are abhorent.

That is who I meant. Pat Lee's proportions were off and he had very soft edges to his shapes. Like his characters seemed pillowy.

I just picked up the Galvatron Classics "tank". Haven't opened him yet (enjoy a morning beverage) but he looks cool. I left the Starscream repaint "Acid whatever" on the pegs-- I can't stand buying a figure of a character that never existed.

Did somebody say Galvatron?

I just got him last night. He is pretty awesome but really needed to be bigger.

I agree that for $10 it's decent enough but here in the UK Deluxes are £12.99 which is the equivalent of about $26 so I tend to be a bit more picky.
