Based on what the FX guys said about the car in the first film, the shade is a custom multi-shade/layer paint that Chevy did for the concept, and that it was so special, that if they got even a nick anywhere on the car, the whole part it was on would have to be repainted, like the entire door, not just where the nick was.
So im not surprised chevy doesn't offer it, of course they don't do the stripes either. Plus in ROTF he's got more customized parts, like the hood scoop, the new fog lamps and front fascia.
So basically you need the 30k or so for a new camaro, then probably another 30k to make it look like the movie heh.

Please tell your friend to try going to https://www.allspark.com/ It is a wonderful community with die-hard Transformer fans who would love to buy some custom figures. And the Mods are very polite and respectful. There is also a videogame forum, but all they talk about is Nintendo
OK thanks,I'll pass it on. My friend is currently looking into possible legal steps he can take as there's got to be some kind of law against internet stalking which is what FR's behavior amounts to.
I've read some of the e-mails that he's received and a few are somewhat threatening, warning my friend to stay out of the customising community "or else" he'll use his contacts to get him banned from all the TF sites, ebay, Paypal and anywhere else he can and that it's his personal mission to cause my friend as much hurt as possible.
I suspect some of it is hot air but it still amounts to harassment and bullying and it needs stopping ASAP.

I spent a looong time at TRU trying to figure out what I should get to take advantage of their deals, and in the end I just got some gifts for my young son's birthday (bumper battlers and one of the fast action battlers). The best deal appears to be to either get two voyagers for $36 ($26 after the gift card, or $13 apiece). Or a leader class for $30 after the card. The deluxes are priced $9.99 which means that if you buy 3 you still have to get some other transformers product to get the gift card.
The problem is that I already have leader prime, and I wasn't that impressed with Leader Megatron. Are any of the voyagers worth getting? I already have The Fallen, and most of the others seem to be retreads of figures from the last movie.

One voyager figure which I think looks pretty cool but haven't seen at the stores. It either hasn't been released yet or has already sold out. His name is "Long Haul".

Yeah, I haven't seen him yet. The selection at my TRU is pretty much limited to the earlier figures.

The only complaint I have with Voyager Long Haul is that Hasbro screwed up the robot mode, it looks far too scrawny compared to the CGI model and the concept art.

Tell me about it. But the way i look at it is...that there is far worse looking figures.
On another note i finally took the plunge and bought leader prime.
That's true enough, I was just disappointed that my favorite movie Decepticon didn't get a more accurately proportioned toy as it's a lot less complex looking in robot mode compared to many of the others so I would have thought it would have been easier to get right.
One toy I'm looking forward to the as much as anything else in the ROTF lineup is the Deluxe Skids & Mudflap ice cream truck as it looks like a lot of fun and the rest of the Human Alliance line should be pretty cool too.

I haven't heard anything about a repaint for Ironhide but knowing hasbro they is sure to be some sort of repaint in the future. But if you want the black version just go on ebay and get the 2007 version. Its essentially the same exact mold except the guns. I think there is a difference in the guns, not sure exactly what it is different in the weapons since I skipped out on this grey version.

Yeah hes my favorite Decepticon from this movie also, but i would think to make him "thicker" and "wider" (which is what i think he needs) like he really is, the toy would be touching leader class (which i wouldnt mind at all
) I cant wait to get the Ice cream truck also, i have a feeling its going to be be really hard to find, being no figure to date from this movie has been "rare" like the new camero was for the first movie.
I hope. That would be amazing being that he is my favorite transformer and like a moron i opened the first movie's version. (no im not calling people who open them stupid, i just dont)

I preordered Leader Jetfire from Amazon last night, since somebody here mentioned they had it available and I thought I would use it as a backup in case I had trouble finding one locally. The date was given as "July" but I just got an email that it has shipped, and should be here tomorrow! He's still listed as "in stock" at Amazon at retail price with free shipping if anyone is interested.

A Leader Class Long Haul would be pretty awesome and more accurate in size judging on how he looks in the movie.
Or even better a Human Alliance version that comes with a "moustache guy" holographic driver in the same attire as Spike or Sparkplug from the G1 cartoon.
You could well be right on the ice cream truck as it's one that will have a big appeal to both kids and older collectors so Hasbro will inevitably decide to pack it one per case

I ordered mines on June 18th and on my account it still says it will ship around July 6th. WTF?
Anyways, atleast Hasbro did not make Jetfire nose in jet mode flat. It looks sharp and pointed which it can poke out a kids eye like Optimus Primes smoke stacks on G1 and 20th
