He's a pretty decent figure, legs are a bit limited due to them trying to ensure the crouched cane wielding pose, so his knees wont let you bend his legs any straighter than you see.

Jet is dissapointing because of the giant robot underbody, its great from the top, a nice blackbird, and decent size, even though its still out of scale. Funnily enough this jet is probably in scale with voyager starscream and now they are going to make a leader of him. Almost seems like jetfire should have been a bigger class like supreme or something i dunno.

For those curious the text on the side of the cockpit says "WARNING: This aircraft contains a seat containing an explosive. Charge see maintenance manual before removing."

Which is accurate along with the pilots name to real blackbirds, interesting stuff, and kinda neat they got the text so freaking tiny, i had to take a picture of it and magnify in photoshop to read it.

Behold the glory of Jetfire! Nice work Magnuz!

I agree that the alt mode looks a bit odd unless viewed from the top but I think it would have looked much the same had it been a Supreme or even an all new, bigger size class.

At the thickest point of the fuselage on real SR-71's the pilot still has to crouch a bit to get to his seat so with that in mind it doesn't leave anywhere for the parts to go.

Obviusly a CGI model can cheat and make parts vanish into thin air where needed but a physical object can't do that hence the "backpack" look.

Hey Mag, I know you have probably told us a million times what paint you use but maybe you could tell me one more time and also how you apply it?:D

Just got ROTF Voyager Starscream today. If you were disappointed with the old version this new toy fixes nearly everything that was wrong with the old one, and improving on some aspects as well. Its not perfect by any means but still awesome! Get him if you can!

I'm waiting to see what the proposed Leader class version looks like. :D

I'll say that I do like the new Starscream mold as opposed to the old, but I honestly never cared much for him (to me, he still looks like a robotic crab).

I've heard that the Leader class version (assuming it still releases) will blow the regulars away. I'm looking forward to seeing it--if it's as good as I've heard rumblings about, then I may end up dropping some cash on it.

And Dub, you keeping it or planning a nice repaint?

Yeah Voyager Starscream is great. I was going to wait for the Leader class version, but that won't be coming out until next year so I'm glad I picked this one up in the mean time.

Also I've started collecting the Constructicons. I bought Mixmaster and Demolisher so far. Both awesome figures. Has anybody seen Long Haul on shelves yet? He is the one I'm looking forward to the most.

Nah im gonna keep it. I have no interest in painting starscream, and those "tattoos" of his would be a ^^^^^^ to re-create as well. Nah im really pleased with him especially since he was free so im gonna keep him.

I was as well so i held out on buying it. Then someone offered to buy it for me as a gift so i said "YES PLEASE!" lol

Vehicle mode for both figures are awesome!!! As for Robot mode, I find them so so only...my main gripe with them is their arms seems way to short. Articulation is pretty ample, no waist articulation though... but the short arms really spoils fun of posing the figures.

Prime is a pain to photograph and edit due to the red color, which causes a lot of noise in the pictures. I gave him extra photoshop treatment to reduce the noise...

Enough talk, here are some pics!

Nice pics Jun!
It's a bit odd seeing Prime & Megatron with sports car alt modes but both molds look pretty cool.

Yes their alt modes are stunning and almost flawless but the robot modes leave a lot to be desired. Unless these come waaaaaaay down in price i'll pass on these i think.

I'd love to pick these up for customs--imagine a nice Jazz or Prowl from these (just needs new heads). The Prime head looks cool, but that Megatron head looks off (it's showing too much forehead or something). I'd still love to pick them up along with extras though, but as Dub said, only when they come down. Too pricey for my taste right now.
