sorry to interrupt the excitement here (and yes!!, that is one helluva custom) :rock

does anybody know the depth measurements on either Prime or Megatron mini-busts from Hard Hero (I guess it could also be Diamond, they are probably close to the same)? thanks for the help

Haven't opened it up yet, been busy working, off work tomorrow....but have to take dog to the vets, yadda-yadda. Will get to it soon. the box seems so much smaller, but maybe that's due to the removal of the styro inner? Not sure, I've got a vintage and re-issue Predaking and those boxes are identical in size.

Such an amazing custom! :drool

I love this pic

I can check mine this weekend but they are quite a big bigger than the Diamond ones.

Yep, Bruticus is fantastic. I've heard complaints about mold issues (from being used so much), but I notice zero problems with mine. Stickers are quality, transformations/joints are tight, everything is perfect.

Very cool, thanks for the 411! I want to get this!!

Anyone excited by the pics of that Classics scaled Masterpiece Prime will be pleased to know it's getting a release via iGear Toys,

As much as I want one I have to say this is an incredible gamble for iGear as Hasbro/Takara will likely take one look at it and proceed to drop the legal hammer on them & the other 3rd party companies once & for all as they indicated they would at Botcon if things crossed a certain line.

Bruticus is pretty cool, I had the RID Ruination but he looked a bit rubbish with the colour scheme. The cassettes are really pushing my buttons, they're all superb.

How is that anything more than a glorified knock-off?

It's not but that wouldn't necessarily stop Hasbro/Takara from trying to get it stopped as I would think it goes beyond what they would consider acceptable.

It looks nice but I can't see it coming out without Hasbro trying to shut them down. They did not seem too impressed with Fans Projects after they unveiled their bots @ TFcon and they were original concepts.

Hasbro needs to smarten up and give us G1 figures that are true to the cartoon, i don't even care if they transform or not(would work pulling off G1 Megatron) and give us Alpha Trion and Orion Pax figures.

For Slynger;

You need about 8 inches of depth for Megatron and about 5 inches for the Prime Hard Hero busts. That will leave you a little extra room for clearance around the busts.

Here is a size comparison between the Hard Hero and Diamond busts.

I may be late on this but did anyone else hear a rumor that SS would be doing TF statues?

I would really like a 1:1 Frenzy, and to a lesser point Wheelie
