I bought an EX Anakin from Nash thats the one that came broken. He offered to refund me $100, but I said just make it $75 and we'd call it even. That's where me & Nash's business ends

I call SSC to see what can be done the next week, and that's when they offer me a regular Anakin with no base. That has nothing to do with me & Nash's transaction and that's what this whole thing's about

Dude you are straight up SHADY. like I asked you in the PM that you ignored. How would you feel if you were in my shoes and I did this to you? screw you man.

Honestly now guys (Nash and Verbal) you guys are both very awesome boardies here whom a lot of us respect. I don't see what the fuss is all about. Nash, if Verbal wanted to scam you he wouldn't post a whole thread about this thing. And he's still ending up with 2 incomplete items. I understand how you feel ripped off that he got an extra piece from Sideshow but it's not like he got an extra piece from you. So he got $75 bucks back from you, but the item was damaged right? And maybe if you asked him nicely to file for insurance so you can get some of the money back or maybe both of you could get the full amount back and split it from the damaged item, both of you win.

I told him I'd rather go the insurance claim route because it wasnt worth paying a $100 extra dollars to him for USPS damaging this PF. He didnt want to, said he didnt have time for it, and would gladly take $75 to end things. I did it because I felt bad about the damage and admittedly the insurance claim would take about 4 weeks, and didnt want to put him through that. IT WAS NOT DAMAGED when I shipped it. anyone here who has dealt with me knows i dont pull that crap. why would I now on this PF when it was a mear $275.

That's the thing. I felt bad, I told him i was upset that it got damged during shipping, but I had it fully insured and would have no problem doing an insurance claim, or possibly offered him a $100 refund.

The next correspondence I told him I'd rather go with the insurance claim since I sold this to him for $275 and would lose a considerable amount on the transaction if I refunded him $100. He was happy to tell me that $75 would be enough and we'd call it even after that because he "didnt have time to follow through with the insurance claim". Never once telling me he had it in the works with Sideshow to get a replacement. I only just found out about him having a replacement when he posted his "show your star wars PFs" thread here in the SW forum.

And the replacement looks like an ex, not a regular.

Like I said though, I have a feeling he already had a broken one and used me to get a mint one along with a refund.

so lemme get your point of view on this straight.

1) Even though I'm quick to post all my PF hauls, I somehow secretly buy an Anakin PF and it breaks somehow

2) Instead of calling SSC, I decided I'd rather scam somebody else for another

3) I buy your Anakin EX just to scam you out of $75 instead of the $100 you offer to make my scam more believable

4) I finally contact SSC and they send me another Anakin EX

soooo.....I have 3 Anakin PF's. 2 are EX's and 1 is regular. Am I getting this right?

Dude, I knew you already had your mind made up and nothing short of giving you $75 would change it and I don't feel as if I should. I bought what you said was a perfect statue and it wasn't. So I got a partial refund. Our business deal was over at that point. If it happened to me, I wouldn't even think twice about it. I'd give my buyer his partial refund and whatever he does afterwards is his business alone. If he gets something free for it, then more power to him.

Youre trying to make this into a joke....i dont find it one bit funny. but let me answer you anyway.

1. Youre not quick to post your PF hauls, you only posted your Anakin PFs after you got mine or your supposed 'replacement'.

2. Like I said, maybe you called SSC, but I have my suspicions that you already had a broken one. If that is not right, calling SSC and getting a replacement while you are milking me for a refund doesnt make the situation any more right.

3. I 'offered' you the $100 to see what you THOUGHT of the situation. after i thought it over I TOLD YOU that I didnt want to do a refund and I was set on doing an insurance claim. YOU TOLD ME that $75 would make you happy to avoid the insurance claim all together.

Now ask yourselves, why would you not want to do the insurance claim when it was fully insured and I THE SELLER was completely 100% willing to file it and make it happen for you? Instead you wanted to bait me with a "lower" refund price to forget instead of getting all your money back for a 'broken' piece. does it make sense to you? it doesnt to me.

4. possibly, or like I said, maybe you already had a broken one prior. either way, you f'd me didnt you?

Oh so the way you're twisting it, you didnt screw me directly...instead you screwed Sideshow by telling them you had a broken piece, all the while not mentioning to them that you just got a $75 refund from the seller? I guess that keeps your status as a saint intact huh?

who knows? maybe that's why they didn't give me the base:rotfl

It's simple, I don't have time or any desire to go through that process. If we did do it that way, should I have made a thread on how you got a free $275 for selling me a broken statue? C'mon, Nash. I'm done with this thread. The facts are re-typed over and over, over these couple pages. I know from your posts that you're a very stubborn guy who rarely changes your opinion, so there's no point in continuing. I'm not gonna cry to a mod to lock this up because I have nothing to hide. :duff
