Backing up CDs you own is not illegal.

It is when you sell them for profit. If you buy a bunch of CD's and burn them and then sell them you are in the wrong. That is illegal. In order for that to be legal you must own the original copy. And we both know that if you sell it then you no longer have it obviously. So if you don't own it anymore you give all rights away of that object. You might as well download stuff for free.

No No, recasting is the ONLY "illegal" activity.....anything else like burning copyrighted media, downloading from the internet, etc is all LEGAL and will not gain you an infraction.

What is so funny Nash is people here believe that. They think it is ok to copy music and movies for nothing. God forbid someone recast a head or make a zombie figure that looks like sideshow's. I bet everyone on this site has a copy of something. EVERYONE! So think about that the next time you report someone.
