I can see how people may not want campers, but for me these are perfect. Sets the whole film in motion. Also its one of my favorite films of all time. These aren't any different than Tony Stark in a suit or pretty much every figure Rainman has ever produced. I can see these two guys with a white LED light over head with a black background. Going to look bad ass.

Agreed, one of my favorites as well. Would love to see the wolf. But if this is all that happens. I'm just glad there is finally going to be representation of the film in 1/6. [emoji106]

'Boring backpacker's' would be an instabuy for me. Despite such stand out elements as the transformation scene, decomposing Jack, Nazi zombies and Jenny Agutter's norks, the opening treck through the moors (and stop off at The Slaughtered Lamb) is what left an indelible mark on me as a kid.

I agree with these statements... I love the opening backpack scene.. IMO it's the best opening 15 min of any film EVER! From getting to know Jack and David to the Slaughtered lamb to the walk on the moors to the werewolf attack... It's all beautifully paced, written, acted and directed... Jack's Death by werewolf is one of the greatest deaths in film history also... Very well done.. You can feel his pain, panic, and despair.

I love Jack and David as characters. I feel bad every time Jack is taken from David... Damn I just love this movie.. I am all in on the 1/6 scale figures and they will be my first 1/6 scale in my collection..

Not to mention the poster is one of my all time favs

This is shaping up to be awesome , can't wait to see it finished. Great movie, maybe one day we will get a good 1/6 werewolf.

Veeeery interested in these. Really hoping they're affordable. :yess:

I'd also be really excited to see a "Meatloaf" Jack and a Transforming David.

A fully transformed wolf could be awesome, but, for my money, the best parts of the movie are when you can't quite see the wolf. If they did one, though, I'd prefer sculpted over articulated. There was a recent statue of the Kessler-Wolf coming down the steps in the porno theater (was that PCS, too?) but the pose kind of killed it for me. A 1/6 Kessler-Wolf (in a cooler pose) would be pretty fantastic.

I agree. The scary part of the wolf for me has always been not being able to really see it. I watched this movie only on VHS becuase I was way to young to see it in the theaters. So with the cropping for TV and the crap resolution, the wolf was almost never seen. It was until a few years ago that I saw it in the cinema. Completely new experience for me.

This and Chrissy death in JAWS are the most horrific attack scene ever put on film. The screams of Jack , high pitched panic....and that burp from Chrissy.....still makes my stomach turn.

Yeah, that's my thought on it. I can't imagine there are such huge fans of that movie that those looks will sell in large numbers. I would do some of the more interesting looks from the film instead. This would be my number one, though:

Yeah, not a lot of interest in them undamaged... but still cool to see them being made.

But I'd love a mauled Jack and a Werewolf would be incredible; but I suspect at best we might get a werewolf head like this:

And as for the Nazi's if you haven't built your own; the Curly figure is a pretty easy bash and Caine's sculpt is phenomenal.

Werewolf form would be pretty kewl.

Otherwise these are just dolls of campers on the shelf. :monkey4

agreed, the figures are boring as they are, they need to do figures of them later on in the film.

Make this a 1/6 Werewolf of the movie, and I will THROW my money at them.

The main characters in their hiking gear...seems like an odd choice. Not for me.
