Can't be any worse than Afflicted, which was basically a found footage vampire version of a similar story. They better make this a hard R though or it'll be just as bad as every other remake we've seen over the last decade.

Huh. Max Landis is writing and directing. Expect douchey hipster werewolves. 10 to 1 odds Nurse Price is an angsty Welsh nurse with purple hair who is emotionally unavailable to David because her brother was eaten by a werewolf, but she never talks about it because no one believed her and put her in the psych ward when she was 11 or some ****. And there will no doubt be lots of flannel, but in an ironic, hipster way.

I actually liked Landis' Superman stuff and he's not a bad comic writer, but I've yet to see a film of his I've liked.

This must be the script leaked. Sounds exactly like what they will go for.

CGI won't better or even equal the original transformation scene.

Watched this during Halloween and can't imaging this movie even coming close to the original animatronics and costumes. It will be laughable.

The limitations of the originals prop werewolf actually worked massively for the film, you never saw too much of the creature and it kept the mystery element.

Everyone knows that from the start which already puts the movie under pressure. The original was dark and gritty whereas we'll most likely get a blinged up CGI heavy movie now.

Street fighter 2 was my favorite until KI came along. Those ultra combos were so damn addictive.
