Well, as many of you know I have been on a mad hunt to find the Aliens Warrior 1:1 bust by Sideshow.

About 2 weeks ago I get a PM from geto10 saying that he has found one at amoktime. They told him it was to expensive or something to ship over seas, so he let me know about it.

did Amoktime ship to you directly or did geto10 ship it to you ?

I got it directly from Amoktime.

if i remember correctly...amoktime is located in NY. you should not have to pay for any of the shipping.if nothing is getting resolved then i would surf through NYConsumer Affairs webpage and file the proper complaint.and they even have consumer departments for certain counties including Nassau and Suffolk which i believe
is one of the counties the store is located.

Seriously, I think if amoktime refuses a simple call to his credit card company will resolve things.

They are a pretty cool retailer so hopefully they will work it out for you.

They should because the Alien bust is pretty lame compared to the Aliens Warrior.

Very true, they are a good retailer; you should be fine.

This probably an oversight, I can't imagine them doing such a noticeable "bait and switch."

That really sucks Chase. I know how badly you wanted this and to have something else come to your door.... especially at that price... was probably pretty devastating. Hopefully Amoktime helps you out on this, maybe it was just a mix up at the warehouse. I hope so man....

Hmmm. I wonder if they simply messed up and shipped the wrong bust. Things like that do happen. Maybe they still have the one you ordered. If not, they will probably take care of it for you. I have had to return some things in the past and it's not pleasant. Some of these businesses you have to really pester for a month or longer to give you your refund.

Awe man... that is weak! Hopefully this is just a mix-up and your Aliens warrior is still there.

But bottom line is there is no way you should have to pay the costs to ship it back when they clearly sent the wrong item!

But remember, if need be the Krusade is here to spam the heck out of their emails!!!

I've had my fair share of problems with Amoktime as well.


I had to fight them for 4 months before the problem was resolved. It wasn't pretty, but I got my money back.
