Re: Amstel's Custom Horror Figures...

You get the other sculpt as well Amstel? The one that's showing the skull?

Re: Amstel's Custom Horror Figures...

Yes I did. Its on its way to me. :)

Re: Amstel's Custom Horror Figures...

Only thing I kept from my set was the claw, I bought my set when I first joined here just stopped collecting horror..... Looks awesome! Hope the skull sculpt is ok when it arrives :)

Re: Amstel's Custom Horror Figures...

I never was a fan of ones custom but he sure has some interesting pieces that I would not mind keeping. I think he needs to learn to paint better. Lol.

I am very close to completing the collection of the horror icons, there are still a few I want to get. And of course when a newer version comes up, I'll replace the older ones. Horror genre is my most favorite among other genres of the movies.

I am starting to broadening up my collection to 80's classics only I will be very limited to selecting my favorites. In my opinion 80's was the best era for the movies.

Before I bought the Freddy figure, I did notice the skull head sculpt was missing and I went looking for it before I'd buy the figure. As soon as I located it on your sales thread, I bought the figure for a good price. I'll let you know when it arrives. Thanks!! :duff

Re: Amstel's Custom Horror Figures...

You have Hobo Myers by One's
No. :( Yesterday I almost did buy one but from an advice of my friend telling me not to because it was an older version. Green coat- older version. Blue coat- newer version. Need to remember that. :)

Re: Amstel's Custom Horror Figures...

There is a green coat one on ebay atm, is that the one you saw?

I heard the same thing from a few people that commented his paint job seems rushed. I have to say so far I am pretty lucky, the figures I have here, the paint job is a spot on.

That and there is one on sale here under a seller retyu something...those two are older version. Not worth at the price both sellers are asking for.

My friend who knows more about One's figures than I do told me this...

One way to tell is One did the newer Hobos with a blue coat underneath. The older ones were green. So as soon as you look at the sleeves and see it is green you know it's old.

Re: Amstel's Custom Horror Figures...

Ooo good info thank you! I really like the hobo myers by one. It's an eye catcher when displayed.

Re: Amstel's Custom Horror Figures...

Look at my new piece and only custom I have atm but certainly not my last.

****ing love it. Beetlejuice is one of my favorite movies. Maybe I'll watch it again tonight for the 100th time lol. I watched most of 'IT' . I got bored

Re: Amstel's Custom Horror Figures...

Yeah IT is long but for some reason I love the character itself.

Re: Amstel's Custom Horror Figures...

That's one of the grails for sure!! A really fanastic figure and the details in that is top notch! Loved the movie too. I agree it was too long!
