Re: Amstel's Custom Horror Figures...

I am almost done with Leatherface! Will post pictures in a few days.

Re: Amstel's Custom Horror Figures...

Can't wait to see him!

I should work on a 1/1 Leather face in the future. But the whole chainsaw thing might be tough.

Re: Amstel's Custom Horror Figures...

The Warlock Myers figure I re-modded and repainted. I couldn't stand the sculpted hair and the paint was too dark on him. It felt totally wrong to me. Since I am keeping him in my collection, I decided to make the head sculpt look better so I could appreciate looking at hjm. I shaved the sculpted hair off and rehaired it. I re-modded the nose and cheeks with milliputt. Then I repainted it to my liking. Here he is!

Re: Amstel's Custom Horror Figures...

Thanks Yoda! It took quite a few practices to make it seem easier for me to do hair. I'm glad I'm able to do that now and don't have to worry about paying someone else extra $ to hair for you. :) Thank you for stopping in to check out my thread.

Re: Amstel's Custom Horror Figures...

Iminime Dr. Hannibal Lecter. I'm not finished setting him up. Waiting on more parts to come soon! So far here's what I have

He came with the box, COA, the police man's stick and pen. I put those away. I ordered a normal version sculpt from Denny Kim and traded my Myers figure for Full Metal's trolley! As soon as I get everything here I'll set it up and take more pictures. :duff

Re: Amstel's Custom Horror Figures...

I had to even though this is purely only for horror icons but hey you know Bill The Butcher? He should count as he is a psycho in the movie Gangs of New York. :) I'm just excited and I wanted to share my new figure with you all. I bashed up a brawler version-

Rainman's head sculpt painted by Aeon.
Hat and shoes by Robbie the painter.
Clothes by a talented tailor, Iris.

I am using RM chest piece I got from my Bill v2 H&C set for this one on a ttm18 body. Also borrowed the knives and belt set from v2 to demonstrate how he'd look with his knives!

Re: Amstel's Custom Horror Figures...

Nice work Angie puting it together. Aeon did a good job on the paint app. Those knives from your v2?

Re: Amstel's Custom Horror Figures...

So jealous! He looks incredible! The new clothing set is top notch. One of my grails if I ever could bite the bullet. Just too much trouble getting all the parts and then the cost...

Wow I haven't been on here in a long time! Lol

Well...now I'm back...

I finished my project, the Pretty Woman figure!! The chainsaw from original SS Leatherface figure was hard to find but...the waiting finally paid off! I built him up all on my own, modded a ttm19 head sculpt into Pretty Woman and painted/haired it. The clothes and hands came from the parted out DiD Winston Churchill figure that I picked up from Monkey Depot - The Finest in Scale Military. I dipped the shirt in coffee to make it look beige and dirty also showed off the stripes. The tie also came from the original SS Leatherface. Boots from DAM Toys. I'm not sure about the stand but it's handmade and looks great! Oh and I handmade the bracelet for this guy! [emoji4] here he is...
